Welcome, I would like to argue on this thread why I don't think Superman's Heat Vision should scale to the 3 million kelvin statement.
They refer to the innercore becoming superheated. The definition of super heated in thermodynamics is when a liquid is heated to a temperature higher than its boiling point, without boiling. This would mean that melting the kryptonian core wouldn't require less than 3 million kelvin to achieve.
