Iirc, wasn't Supes able to react to Shazam's lightning enough to turn Shazam around and have him be hit by it? If this is legit, it would scale to all of the main cast that can keep up.

I'm not very familiar with the DCAU, but if that's the case then I think Superman and other comparable heroes should scale to it. Though has Superman (other heroes) shown similar feats for this not to be an outlier?

@TheSpeedster96

It most likely is an outlier. And Captain Marvel's lightning is not normal lightning but magic as proven by the fact that it was able to reach several storeys underground through dozens of metres of solid concrete and injure Superman.

But this is just my opinion. I'll wait and see what others have to say.

Well, I think it is lightning from the sky, so somebody would likely have to calculate what kind of speed that would be required, after watching the episode, or seeing screen captures.

1.As said above it was magical lightning (though since it can reach the ground in seconds or less it may as well behave like real lightning when it comes to speed).

2.It came from the sky so Superman would have plenty of time to react, not to mention that Captain Marvel says Shazam giving Superman a warning of what is going to happen.

FYI Wonder Woman blocked lightning from weather wizard in the episode where superman gets sent to the future

Interesting. Weather Wizard can bring down natural lightning via manipulation of storm clouds with tech. Which episode is that? It could be a solid MHS reaction feat. The OBD has the Justice League top tiers at MHS+ for some reason. That feat could be the reason.

That was natural lightning (though the electric blasts from his staff are not). So MHS to MHS+ reactions for Wonder Woman and anyone who scales to her? Nice.

Well, likely MHS, given the distance from the blast.

Okay. MHS seems a safe bet. A similar feat for Meliodas (blocked cloud to ground lightning with his arm) was calc'ed at Mach 270 to 360 if I remember correctly.

Okay. Do you wish to handle to speed changes?

The fact that Flash is FTL from that feat should scale to Green Lantern since he kept up with Wally. So hard light constructs should be FTL or at least LS. This would scale to pretty much the entire verse except street level heroes.

Sorry. Forgot this thread existed.

Anyway, the Lanterns should all have Light Speed combat speeds via scaling from Sinestro. There is also an instance of Star Sapphire (her powers are similar to Lanterns) having one of her beams reflected back at her by a big mirror. That is proof of true light properties.

Now the main question is how to treat Wonder Woman's deflecting of a few attacks from Amazo with John Stewart's powers copied. Do we treat it as outlier or not? She has been easily blitzed by Amazo with Wally's powers copied and so has Justice Lord Superman and Captain Atom (who can contend with a slightly weakened Superman in hand to hand combat).

@soldier, what about Jon having his construct keep up with Wally? That's how Wally got his FTL speed ranking. If anything the lanterns should be FTL. Plus there's also Doctor Light who has light based powers and other light based attacks like heat vision and omega beams, which I'm sure have clashed with lantern constructs at one time or another.

@Soldier Blue

I am not sure what to do here. Sorry.
