So you could divide 2-C in half but can't multiply Low 2-C by 2 to get 2-C even though multiplication is just the inverse, maybe i'm understanding wrong, but now I kind of think the feat is 2-CFrom what I’ve heard it’s because Beerus and Champa were each contributing half the power necessary for a shockwave that would have destroyed two universes at once. So they don’t have multipliers upscaling from low 2-C, but have divisors back scaling from baseline 2-C.
You technically can reach 2-C from low 2-C by multipliers, it’s just completely unquantifiable what multiplier would be needed, so we basically assume no low 2-C is close to 2-C unless it’s through back scaling.

Because of this, we never assume a multiplier or chain from baseline low 2-C is enough to reach 2-C without concrete proof within the series, because it could just as easily be a 16x gap as a googolplexian times gap. Looking at it from the other end though, since we don’t know if the gap is finite or infinite, we take the assumption that results in the lower rating, which is that it’s finite, and therefore dividing by a finite amount places them in the high end of low 2-C rather than lower in 2-C.
