Darth Vader feat

It might help if you put a few tags in the topic (for Vader and Star Wars namely), and contact knowledgeable members to see what they think. I don't really follow Star Wars, and not really MatPat anymore, so I can't do much here.

You should ask a few calc group members to copy the calculation to a blog post, so we can use it.

This was brought up before. Some of it could be used according to Ogbunabali, but it would require a recalc. And the most exaggerated numbers won't be used because the gravity and fortress sizes weren't properly calculated because:

the dude in the video was basing his calculations on measuring areas that were not meant to be seen by the players (clipping through assets) and could only be seen/reached via unnatural ways.

Why does that delegitimize the feat, exactly?

His/her reasoning was: "Clipping through the game to see game assets there aren't meant to be seen, and in turn aren't made to scale, gives you highly inaccurate numbers and shouldn't be used."

IIRC, the gravity of the planet couldn't be measured too. And the fortress was apparently never shown in a cutscene to be properly measured.

So should we close this thread then?

I think so. The other one was also kind of forgotten (2 months without replies) since we couldn't find the stuff needed to do the calc.
