If dark sonic had the power of the fake chaos emeralds, which are comparable to the real ones, then shouldn’t dark sonic be as strong if not, stronger than super sonic?

The Sonic News Network mentions “Hundreds of these Emeralds were mass produced with similar abilities but altered properties when compared to a normal Chaos Emerald. They could easily be crushed or disintegrated after strenuous use.”

Same abilities, but weaker. Unknown amount how weaker, but definitely evidence against Dark Sonic being “stronger“ than Super Sonic.

Also, what evidence in Sonic X does Rage play a part in increasing attack power, compared to the urgency of Super Sonic in his battles?

It doesn’t seem like the mass-produced Chaos Emeralds created by the Metarex are equal to the real deals.

Because Dark Sonic is above Base Sonic on the fact of being a transformation. However, Dark Sonic has no feats other than trashing robots that trashed Base Sonic. The Fake Emeralds are also stated to be weaker than the properties of the Real Chaos Emeralds while granting similar abilities.
