Dante VS Sonic the Hedgehog

Round 1 and 2: Sonic blitzes hard.

Round 3: Dante shows Sonic how to eat pizza on a multiversal scale.
 
Round 1: Sonic's faster, sure, but he has no real way of actually killing Dante for good. Dante eventually catches him out and annihlates him.

Round 2: Sonic now has sufficient firepower and toughness to tank Dante's attacks and then some, and to put him down for good. Sonic blitzes and destroys Dante with all-around superior abilities.

Round 3: Sonic's hax is nice and all, but with everything SMT!Dante has survived there's really little that can be done to stop Dante from crushing Sonic with the raw power he wields.

Dante wins 2 of 3 rounds, so overall that's who I'll vote for.
 
Round 1: Sonic can outclass Dante as he is far faster but isn't that powerful also Dante's quicksilver can help him catch up and win

Round 2: Sonic can beat Dante will enough strength and being faster

Round 3: Well right now Dante has survived and beat people much more powerful than Sonic really so Sonic is outclassed in this round

Dante wins the first round, he outclasses Sonic in every area, apart from speed and even then Quicksilver deals with that problem.

For round 2, this is harder. By Super forms for Dante do you mean Dante's standard devil trigger form or the Majin form? If it's the former then Sonic wins, due to quantifiably higher power and speed, if the latter is true, then stalemate, since both are invulnerable and have no way to hurt the other. Actually since both run on a time limit it's possible that both would run out and Dante would still end up the winner

For round 3, Dante murderstomps, for reasons pretty much already stated

So Dante ends up as the winner overall
 
Dante beats Sonic in the first round due to overall better stats and hax at his disposal.

Sonic would probably beat Dante in this round. However Dante could still pull through via bangle of time and Yamato hax.

SMT Dante would horrificly annihilate Sonic on that round.

Overall I would say Dante due to arguments presented already.
 
Round 1: I would say Sonic with high diff due to Dante being able to use Quicksilver and Bangle of Time.

Round 2: Dante since Yamato ignores durability and would most likely cut trough Super Sonic.

Round 3: Dante stomps horribly.
 
Round 1, Sonic will start blitzing Dante horribly, but he simply won't wound Dante. Annoyed by the lousy blue rat, Dante uses Quicksilver and kills him with a flick.

Round 2, Sonic will blitz and decimate Dante before the white-haired weirdo has even a chance to react.

Round 3, Dante will blink him out of existance.
 
If this gets added, there has to be major notes, as SMT Dante is non-canon and has his own profile, and ONLY base forms gives a win to Dante. Any other canon form goes to Sonic.

Well SMT Dante being Non-Canon doesn't change anything there are a lot of Non-Canon profiles in this wiki, and they are also used in dabates. Archie Sonic also has his own profile.
 
That's not what I meant, and also proves that point more. This is mainly a battle between canon Sonic and canon Dante. If a non-canon Dante beats a non-canon Sonic, it shouldn't be added to either of their respective canon profiles.

True, but it will most likely inconclusive since it only uses their Base Form, and their Super Forms.
 
If we're not counting the third round, yeah.

I guess it could also be added to the Archie and SMT pages seperately, too, but that's not up to me.
 
I would say that if we include all of sonics items and abilities round one becomes much closer since sonic can use chaos control that means time/space manipulation that includes time stoping also the wisp powers ( I count them since in the games they are treated as items ) to name a few the indigo asteroid creates a gravitational field that can rip large rocks apart and the more it consumes the stronger the gravity gets also violet void is like a black hole in that it can suck in things and it sends them to another dimension or something like that it can't suck in things too heqvey at first but like the indigo asteroid the more in absorbs the stronger it gets but he can only use them as long as he has power in the meter meaning it is not a Permanent State but i Say that all of it puts Sonic in A better standing in round 1
 
I say archie sonic wins against SMT dante becuase in his super form he was able to beat hyper knuckles in goly armor that could cassually destroy universes with not much problem. Also, dark sonic ( i have no idea why they havent put it in his profile but watever ) was able to defeat mobious 17, a god who, as he states, is powered by an infinte amount of worlds giving him infinite amount of power.
 
Dante wins the first two rounds with his versatile set of hax. Round 3 is a stomp since dante is not only far superior to sonic, but can OHK sonic with stinger.
