Danny Torrance VS Richard (Who Killed Captain Alex?)

So in a straight up fight, I think Richard would beat the crap out of Dan here, Dan is a decent brawler but hasn't casually beat people like Richard. That being said, the moment Dan is knocked down he is gonna fall back onto his powers.
Dan has two choices, he can passify or he can possess Richard.
Dan could use his Psycometry to find the location of his brother or at least a hint to get Richard to stop fighting him, or he can use his Empathy and Mind-Reading to remind him of his good times with his brother and that he needs to focus on finding him rather than fighting him.
The other option is Dan possesses Richard and try to get him to kill himself somehow, either by finding a building or just hurting himself until he can't fight anymore.
I would say Dan could do this more often than not since he was able to survive so long without bleeding out, I would say he can handle the beating long enough to use his powers.
