What would the prep even do? He can't exactly beat the kid up with his fodder trash Stand that gets manhandled by Moody Blues (a stand so weak, it constantly makes a point in saying it can't even protect itself properly).
I don't think he can split his powers from them? Aren't they biologically tied to him?
Like, maybe he could try and do what he did to Abach and get him halfway into a mirror, and then try to cut it off, but that's not exactly easy, especially against a dude who can casually overpower you.

So... This guy has a stand that pulls people into the mirror world. Does Illuso go too or does he usually stay in the real world?
Danny's powers are biologically tied to him, yes.

He can stay, but he usually camps out in the mirror world and pulls the main body, minus the stand, in, and has his own stand mog them while they cant defend themselves because the stand is in the actual world
That's a good plan against 10-A to 9-C's, low 9-B's. It's a shit plan against a 5-B and his only hope is BFR and just never entering there again, or doing some wacky bisection shit by pulling them half-way in and then de-activating his ability. Neither of which are feasible (BFR might be but he still has to actually get him in there first before ******* off before he gets looked at funny and explodes).

He can literally just separate "Phantom" from Fenton and leave him in the mirror world? Either or? Didn't he do something like that to Fugo?

He did that to Fugo's Stand. Who is a manifestation of Fugo's soul, but also technically a different entity (Multiple selves).
He can't do shit like bring Superman into the world and go "lmao leave uh, heat vision behind", that isn't how it works. If the dude's powers are tied to him directly, it wouldn't work.

He could do that to the virus because it was a different entity. The virus was in him, but it wasn't him, himself, if that makes sense. He permitted himself to move, but not the virus.

Yeah and? You're missing the point, it was able to be removed because it wasn't him, he enabled himself to go through, but not the virus. Literal terms and mechanics fyi. MitM works on rules and beings. If it's two different individual things, he can leave them alone, or bring them in. If they're the same thing literally, well that's just one singular thing. And Griffin said his powers biologically tied, part of him, just inherent qualities, they don't fall under "different individual".
