I wanted to redo this thread since Disease Manipulation wasn't added when I made the final touches to the physiology page for ghosts. So, let's do this again.
Danny Phantom ghosts should get Disease Manipulation (more like Disease Inducement).
In the season 2 episode "Doctors Disorders", Danny fights a ghost bug that duplicates itself and attacks the students at Danny's school. When the ghost bug overshadows the students, they become sick, some being unable to stand or walk and look like there about to die.
This isn't exclusive to just the ghost bug because he have evidence such as a statement from Maddie, Jack, and Danny. In season 1 episode "What you Want". Maddie and Jack Fenton are in the Fenton Lab and they are sick. Danny sees them and while having a conversation
Maddie states that they are trying to "purify themselves of negative ghost energy".
Then Jack states "We're trying to ritually expell any viral ghost in our systems with the Fenton Ghost Catcher. It's like an indian dream catcher but expunges ghosts and not dreams, you see?."
Danny then replies "You might just have a cold you know, it doesn't half to be a ghost cold"
Since they state they are trying to remove any ghost energy/viral ghost from their system because they believe it's a ghost cold, and since it's clearly not talking about a specific ghost, it means ghosts in general. Especially since all ghosts can use ectoplasmic energy and overshadow others like the ghost bug because it's a standard ghost power.
Maddie and Jack are experts when it comes to ghosts and the Fenton Dream Catches works and given we see ectoplasmic energy from the first portal cause Vlad to get Ecto Acne (a disease). I see no reason to assume ghosts shouldn't be capable of causing sickness through their energy/possession.
This should be added to the Ghost Physiology page.
