Dandadan Discussion Thread

It seems like the next chapter will be released on December 9th. That's good, Yukinobu Tatsu should take a rest. Drawing manga with this level of art in just one week is not an easy task.

Nessi is directly based on Shin Godzilla and the beam scene is a direct recreation of his beam scene in the movie. Watch the scene on youtube, you'll get it

I know, I have seen Shin Godzilla (well the godzilla parts, the meeting were boring) And yeah I noticed that when that eye layer closed.
 
About the whole dimension thing. I was busy with Award ceremonies and all so I didn't get time.

Momo's size changes shot to shot but she in 2cm to 5cm. So taking 3cm for small Momo while taking 155 cm for Momo's actual height (avg Japanese 14 year old girl)

So Momo shrunk by 51.6 times. So we have our size Value.

Now here is the problem. How big is the dimension Large island ? Continental ? Planetary ? Multi solar system level ?

We can see the curve of the planet when Momo falls in and there is a day and night cycle. But exiting the planet exits the game. So the stars and sun is just a illusion ? It can be argued that only the playing area is real and the mountains and stuff are all fake but I doubt it considering that old guy was wandering in there for decades.

So best argument is for it to be a planet. Every thing is in proportion to Momo and there is no mention of gravity/atmosphere being any different.

So Mass of Earth / 51.6 = 1.15e23 KG and Radius of Earth in km/51.6 = 123 km . Using GBE calculator for this. 4.306e33. Or 1029 Zettaton of tnt. Planet level+

While it is 51 times smaller in mass, it's also 51 times smaller in radius and by that Making it 139,424 denser than Earth. Well to be fair it should be freaking star at that density but magic I guess.

That or I miscalculated. Eh I will ask Rusty for suggestion whenever he is up.

Do you guys think Turbo granny took her power to upgrade them somehow. Like Okarun is straight up powerless right now.

Unless he awakens his own powers because his balls can awaken powers in others.
 
I just came back to watch. Episode 12, I absolutely hate the NTR plot. I didn’t expect the scene to end like this.

Actually, she had this ability from the very beginning of the story, like when she stopped Okarun’s transformation caused by Turbo Granny’s curse. In the latest chapter, it has become clearer that she can really do it, but it’s still unclear why she didn’t use it on Evil Eye.

Maybe Evil Eye has resistance to it ? I mean he is the only one who is never show being stopped by it. Makes sense, if Momo's ability worked here it wouldn't be possible to have Okarun vs Evil Eye round 2 and Momo would have to hang around Jiji the entire time which would kinda put a damper on the romance plot.
 
I tried translating part of the Extra page from Suda Ko’s:

‘A sniper who uses electromagnetic weaponry.
Utilizing flight capabilities, they target from all angles.
Their guiding motto is ‘Ichinichi-zen’ (One Good Deed a Day).’

It turns out that electromagnetic waves actually travel at the speed of light. However, in the story, they are currently limited to just 100 km/h. Without the restrictions in the statement, it could easily be upgraded to Rel+ to FTL.
