It's challening work, outdoors. I guarantee you'll not go hungry
Cause at the end of the day, long as there's two gunman left on the planet, someone is gonna want the title of best shot

Battle Conditions:

  • Both Jigen and Sniper start at opposite sides of the valley inside the respective cities, Sniper starts with higher ground, and both know the general location of the other
  • Win Condition is to defeat the other via any means
  • Both are 9-A, Sniper has his standard equipment, no lasers, magic, or power ups
  • Jigen is armed with his magnum and a sniper rifle
  • Speed Equalized

So right off the bat, Mundy has better range via skill with his sniper rifle, being highly confident in a 5 kilometer shot means he's not missing at 4 kilometers, and finding Jigen will be easy for him.

Not to say Jigen has no chance, he does straight up outskill in his preferred range, it's just getting there without having his head blown off that's his problem.

Sniper Mid-Diff.

The valley is an in-universe area Jigen had a sniper battle in, so Sniper isn't having a range advantage in that regard (trying to get the valley distance calculated since it probably gets Jigen to kilometers just by looking at it).

Jigen's perfered range is just "as far as the gun he holds is fired". He's generally a master of whatever he holds, the only difference is that he has actual BS accuracy with his magnum as opposed to just being very accurate in general.

Yeah but his profile is ass so he's only got hundreds of Meters with his sniper rifle so Mundy will outrange

Its still a case of Sniper having to deal with a lot of shit while successfully sniping, another sniper is just Tuesday and he will win more times then not since, ya know, he's been doing specifically sniping a whole lot longer, to the point of, by the comics' word, literally having a gift for long-range combat.

Yeah they don't tell you this in the hiring.

I mean, if we want to go with that the valley is only considered hundreds of meters since Jigen can shoot across it lol. I did state where they start the fight in so it's not the SBA 4 kilometers.

Almost the exact same can be said for Jigen, while his perfered weapon is his magnum Jigen holds decades worth of experience over Sniper. He's been a hired gun ever since he's a kid and fought in wars (also if we want to go strictly on profiles, Above Average intelligence on guns < Gifted intelligence based on guns)

Also, you claimed Sniper would be capable of easily finding him...... but how exactly? Jigen has stealth mastery and while he isn't Lupin 'I am in your Walls' the Third, he still uses it in combat and in-character would set up dummies to trick Sniper into shooting

"hundreds of meters with magnum and various weapons."

Where? It ain't in the range section that's for sure.

Can those folks one-shot him? Cause guns in TF2 are generally a one shot one kill deal, armor or not. (Like I always say, feats>A couple words lol)

...yeah. while they do have a friendly rivalry, Spy and Sniper frequently try to outdo the other, and Sniper can find the guy who can disguise as anyone, go invisible, and is generally a stealth master. No Agent 47 but yeah.

Where does it say that the valley is kilometers apart or that Sniper is 4 kilometers away from Jigen? Not on my written rules that's for sure. It's literally an area Jigen has shot at before and it's from a part included in his profile meaning that regardless of how much logic is used Jigen is capable of shooting across the distance.

Yeah, guns in Lupin are typically always a one shot deal. nobody in the verse is considered bullet proof except Goemon and that's only because of the fact his sword is considered the god tier of the verse. If someone survives getting hit with a shot it's either due to plot luck, the bullet failed to hit any vital area and the character is just heavily wounded, or because the gunman was either completely fooled into believe they hit their target/they never intended to kill them. Naturally the grand bulk of these examples of surviving bullets apply exclusively to Lupin himself, but most others would just get killed.

Counterpoint, your profile argument goes against you for that. Sure, Spy and Sniper are having bouts of stealth vs awareness, but Sniper completely lacks any form of enhanced senses on his profile to make it actually notable. Jigen on the other hand has a certain detective that struggles to catch him

No Columbo but yeah, on all accounts Sniper has no means of reliably finding Jigen

Sniper scales to Soldiers 0.086 tons vs Jigen scaling to Lupin's 0.033 tons so Sniper has the AP advantage but due to the nature of their weapons the gap doesn't matter much
