This is the continuation of Me and @LordGinSama journey of completely overhauling the D.Gray-Man profiles on this Wiki.
This thread is about adding the much needed resistances to all characters within the verse that have a profile.
So let’s begin.
D.Gray-Man works strikingly similar to that of a Chinese Cultivator Novel when it comes to their resistances, in that the lower Cultivator (In this case Levels or Synchronization depending on if you're talking about Noah/Akuma or Exorcist) can’t damage nor even effect the higher level Cultivator with their abilities, thus granting higher level Cultivators inherent resistances towards the abilities of lower Cultivators.
This same principle applies with D.Gray-Man with things like Dark Matter in which lower level Akuma can’t harm nor affect higher level Akuma with their abilities, even their special abilities which naturally scale above their inherent abilities that comes from being a Akuma.
This also applies with Innocence but in a different way in that Exorcists with higher Synchronization rates with their Innocence compared to the "level" of the Dark Matter user can resist that users Dark Matter, ranging from their inherent abilities to even special abilities gained from an Akuma reaching Level 2 and above. This even ranges to the Dark Matter of Noah if one's Synchronization with Innocence is high enough like Cross or Allen.
