Everyone knows that Lovecraftian Horror's whole purpose was a theme about the fear of the unknown. And the reason that they're so powerful is because they're supposed to be some sort of unfeeling unknown chaos. So obviously, the verse should be as powerful as things that Lovecraft himself fears and doesn't know.

Let's take a look at this list:

  • Non-white people
  • Poor people
  • Interracial breeding
  • Math (more specifically geometry)
  • New York City
  • Massachusetts
  • The ocean
  • Colors
  • Air conditioners
So clearly, in order to fully get what Lovecraft was on about, the strongest being in the CM should be as strong as a blue air conditioner made in New York thrown by a poor interracial geometrical mathematician from Massachusetts who can swim.

Happy Halloween.
