The current description is a follows:

"Cosmic Awareness is the ability to observe phenomena and be aware of events on a cosmic scale, though the specifics may vary. Users of Cosmic Awareness can often sense others and detect potential threats across an interstellar, galactic, or even universal scale, with the greatest of users being so tuned in that they can feel out even the specifics of molecular movements across such distances. Cosmic Awareness is associated with both Clairvoyance and Enhanced Senses and acts as a combination of the two that takes it to a much higher scale, allowing users to observe others from across vast interstellar distances and "hear" things across such spaces."

According to some staff, they believe this should also include "detecting alterations in time."

Shall we include this officially?

Alternatively, it could belong under Extrasensory Perception.

My sentiments mirror Qawsedf234, and in part mirror my sentiments in the Supergenius thread.
I don't think knowledge of alterations in time should be inherently part of cosmic awareness.

Space and time are very distinct things, with time being qualitatively superior on a dimensional basis.
Therefore, it is a massive and unfair leap for knowledge of the timeline to be required for cosmic awareness, especially since there are logical differences as well as pointed out by Qawsedf234.
I think knowledge of just space on a massive scale should be enough.

I think that cosmic awareness users can perceive events on a cosmic scale, including changes in a timeline, as universal space and time are usually treated as being strongly intertwined with each other. So maybe we should reconsider the result of this discussion?

I think the key word there is usually- particularly only in verses which heavily relate time and space to the real science of spacetime.
There are plenty of verses where they aren't directly linked like that.

If someone can sense every atom in the universe, I don't think it's fair to completely remove their cosmic awareness just because they didn't know somebody time travelled. Instead, that just seems like a particular limitation of their particular cosmic awareness.

That's my idea. There's Cosmic Awareness that can cover a complete temporal aspect, but the page's default reads as the bare minimum is knowing everything that's presently happening rather than knowing everything that's ever happened.

I do not think that the ability should be removed for characters that are not temporally aware, just that temporal awareness should be included as a potential application.

I see. Apologies for misunderstanding then.
I think that's a great idea.
