Not sure if this is right, this is more of a question that could lead to a revision. I wanted to know if Clockwork from Danny Phantom would apply for Infinite or Immesurable Speed?

Infinite Speed (Able to move indefinitely while time literally stands still, or to travel anywhere instantly. Teleportation does not count.)

Immeasurable (Movement beyond linear time. This is why the speed cannot be measured. Given that S = D/T, if T is undefined the speed formula cannot be applied. This is the same reason why multiple temporal dimensions also grant immeasurable speed.)

So Clockwork states that for him "Time moves forwards and backwards". So when Clockwork is on screen, his body randomly switchs between a kid, adult, and old form. So we know he's not following the standard flow of time like everyone else. At the end of the two part episode "Ultimate Enemy" The Observants stated that Danny is now his responsibility since he interfered with events and now that his future self (Dan Phantom) exists outside of time (In Clockwork's Realm).

So it's implied that Clockwork's realm is outside the normal flow of time. Clockwork's other selves were shown capable of instantly appearing in the present from the past and future without the use of portals. Now people would ask "Didn't Clockwork use portals to travel through time?". Yes, Clockwork used portals to travel through time however he doesn't actually need to. The fact that multiple Clockwork's from different time periods appeared in his realm (which is outside the standard flow of time) without the use of portals is clear evidence that he doesn't need them.

The same thing goes for his staff, he is shown to freeze time by pressing the button on his staff. However he is also shown capable of doing it by pointing the staff, and by just tilting it an inch... His other selves literally don't have staffs and they are him. When Clockwork uses his time powers, his staff glows white. When his other selves showed up their entire bodies were glowing white. This means the staff is just a gimmick, he's already proven he doesn't need to actually press the button on his staff and his other selves prove he himself is really the one using the power and doesn't need portals.

Clockwork's Medallions are also made by him. Said medallions are made entirely out of ectoplasm like Clockwork and literally make you immune to the effects of Time. Time in Danny Phantom tries to fix itself, if you travelled through time, you would instantly be pull back to your original time period. However while wearing Clockwork's medallions, you are able to stay in said time period you travelled to and open protals through time if you know how to use them. Clockwork is also incapable of freezing anyone wearing his medallions, you basically become like Clockwork. The Observants told Clockwork that he needs to destroy Danny because he's the only ghost capable of traveling through time and won't be instantly pulled back because Clockwork isn't bound by the normal flow of time. If he was, he would have instantly been sucked back to his realm when he jump through time.

Clockwork can also grant people the ability to stay in different time periods. In the episode "Masters of Time", Danny asks Clockwork to send him back in time which he does, Danny is capable of moving through the past without being pulled back through time. It wasn't directly stated that Clockwork was the one that was protecting Danny, however as soon as Danny was done with what he was trying to do, he was instantly sucked back to his time period. It's pretty clear Clockwork was protecting him since he was the one that sent him there for a specific reason and as soon as he was finished, Time pulled him back.

So since Clockwork is not effected by the rules of time and isn't pulled back through time when he travels through it, those who wear his time medallions (which have his abilites) aren't effected by time manipulation or the standard rules of time and can move even when time is frozen, he can grant people the ability to stay in different time periods without time pulling them back to their original period. For him "Time moves backwards and forwards", His other selves prove that he nor they need portals to travel through time and can just do it. His realm that he created is outside the standard flow of time. Would he get Infinite or Immesurable Speed, or is this just resistance to Time Manipulation.

Well, all of this has explanations that are more easy to point out than infinite speed. "Time moves forwards and backwards" refers to his age changes and potentially his clear Resistance to time manip. Him using his powers naturally just means that, that can do that.

@Eficiente

What about him not being pulled back through time when he travels through it and his Medallions allow people to move in frozen time and become immune to the effects of time. Is that just resistance to Time stuff.

@WeeklyBattles

Again, You must have me confused with someone else OvO

Who else, but you has a Dan Phantom profile =P

@Eficiente

Well that's a let down. I usually get mixed up with Resistance to Time Manipulation and Infinite/Immesurable Speed.

@Huesito88

That was a duplicate of me though OvO.

In a perfect world where "time" means the same for everyone and isn't something interpretable, this gives Clockwork both infinite speed and resistance to Time stuff. For what is worth, the best of us have made huge mistakes with this type of stuff in the past.
