Citations no message box pop up

So I was working on a profile and somehow whenever I hover over the reference no message box popup says the content of the reference.

I tried to check it on a different browser such as Chrome and the same happened.

IDK if it's settings-related. but 2 different browsers (one I used for fandom wiki and the others I don't) not working makes me think it's fandom a related issue

is anyone also having this issue?
