There are some characters I can't help but compare them with each other. There is quite a list, but I want to start with one that got really popular (Sadly, to the point of becoming clichéd) around here: Reinhard Heydrich.
I look at him, and at first, I compare him to Yhwach. Both of them are monarch-like figures, revered by their servants, feared by all. Both of them need to get "freed" or "unsealed", on a certain sense of the word, to walk upon the world once more. Both of them have the capacity to utilize their servants' powers. Both of them want to destroy everything. They are kinda similar, to be honest.
And then I compare Reinhard's personality to that of Lovecraft's Gods. Both Outer and Elder. The Elder Gods with their Blue and Orange morality (Personally, I wouldn't call Reinhard evil. Not good either. He loves the world, but his apathy and his sense of "love" are... Twisted to say the least), and the Outer Gods with their ultimate apathy (Reinhard is more akin to Nodens. He still has some humanlike emotions, and just like Nodens, mostly related to fighting and finding someone who can fight him to equal grounds, or at least provide a good fight).
There's probably a lot more I could think about, but I'll stop there. What do you guys think? Any other character comparisons (Not necessarily with Reinhard, although you are welcome to present some other) you guys want to think about and share here? Feel free to!
