I mayhaps be misremembering and actually said it in discord or smth,h but I remember talking about hoping for Yuji Slander when Denji wins the death battle


but coming back to that now,

I've honestly seen more Denji Slander (and ig Salty Yuji Ytber fans, but idc about them) than Yuji Slander ever since the DB, and the slander that does get made for Yuji, seems pretty ******* tame compared to Denji's

I blame Oregon
 
In all honesty, Chainsaw Man fans are less of a slander type fanbase in comparison to Jujutsukaisen fans. From what I have personally seen, we have more artists who use their brilliant minds and hands to push an agenda (or slander post), we saw that during the Bakugo vs Reze Twitter battle. More or less, Chainsaw Man fans are less inclined to get upset about powerscaling since they are more focused on discussions regarding the series' writing, which part they enjoyed more and etc.

JJK fans will always have the loudest bark in scenarios such as Death Battle or general powerscaling because their fandom has more of those people, along with a complex power system with many interpretations that makes it fun to powerscale.
 
That's what happens when metas go unchecked on social media. I've seen more people call JJK a city block verse so at least its changing.
 
unrelated what I said, (somewhat related tho, since I found this from a channel who seems to be mostly a JJK fan, but the channel also seems to flak JJK fans aswell fro taking feats out of context) but I honestly found someone say the stupidest thing to say that the Moon Spear isn't a reaction feat for Denji

Apparently due to him being a teenager, his mentality prob wouldn't make sense for him to dodge that, or smth like that pretty sure.
 
man wish gotten more things, similar to buddy stories, would like to see more stuff related to power

but then again, the CSM Arcs are pretty close together to even have smth like buddy stories, without prob having to go into the past and in-between Part 1 and Part 2

Cuz yuji's goated and Denji has bad rep (Part 2 Denji not my fav guy in the world, but man his hate is massive. Valid, but massive.)
Like, Yuji's far more liked than Denji. Yuji my guy as JJK got me through an extremely rough time in my life and, from what i've heard on twitter, many others experienced something similar, Denji just got me through extreme boredom and emptiness after JJK ended.
Plus, Most JJK Powerscalers deep in the wells of the buisness knew Yuji would likely lose, but the way he lost is very offputting, hence more Denji slander

The animanga culture is hollow nowadays, and I don't even mean to direct it at you or sound like an elitist. Besides the powerscaling stuff, people's hate for CSM is because they don't like the type of story it is, practically zero to do with quality. And we see this when CSM ended, people's issues were "what about xyz" as if the story was always about xyz. People were expecting some final form Death Devil, more exploration of the primals even with getting 4 already, wondering about side characters like Kishibe, Reze, as if the story didn't blatantly illustrate their departure from the story in the last arc. Instead, you can tell everyone expected something like MHA or JJK endings from CSM. And I like the potential ideas but them not being executed or done, don't really change how I feel about the story. Same with JJK glossing over the Heian era or any other era really.

Memes like this demonstrate how bad criticism is when it comes to CSM, just random beliefs about characters and the main story. The powerscaling adds to the asinine beliefs about quality and how people will treat the characters in any story too. But I can't fully blame fans since their interaction becomes tainted by the powerscaling and stupid fan wars.

I fw JJK too, but Yuji certainly gets undeserved praise and wank. And then most fans usually don't care for the story, long as it works enough to push an agenda, and gives us cool moments with a cliche ending. Kagurabachi already seems to be heading there sadly.

Interesting in a thematic sense or cuz of the social commentary people do on it? It certainly has its horror aspect down but I think it lacked further world building and kinda feels like it could've done better as a series.

I haven't really interacted with the community or commentary around it. Some friends invited me to watch it so I went in blind. I just finished it moments ago and I really enjoyed it, especially from a writing perspective.

It has criticisms but it's just plain good imo.
 
i got a lot of calcs of mine unevaluated that i forgot for a while to bump, and so there are others from other people, so i could make a list so we keep up with stuff that could be useful to work on

a bunch of these are calcs that were midway on being accepted, where sometimes the calcer answered or not the CGM, and the CGM also not answering back, also anime only calcs have the canonicity problem, that could or couldnt be accepted with a CRT explaining why they could be used

  • Typhoon devil calcs were midway on an evaluation by Eljoaki5, acertainbcplayer answered but eljoaki5 not, but they are somewhat anime only tho
  • Reze calcs are mostly anime onlies (also about her explosions having realistic speeds, idk how do you argue their validicity, like what do you need to look at)
  • Nail Fiend dodges rifle fire was never accepted cuz SundaGamer never answered, and so i see he hasnt evaluated calcs in the wiki for a while
  • Angel Devil throwing his spear wasnt accepted as Damage3245 asked for a calc for Reze Speed, This could replace it (also i think Hybrid Reze could upscale from it as combat speed as shes consistently portrayed as far stronger than Angel, he himself was scared of her)
  • the Devils weight calc could be added, im pretty sure Denji has been able to push the Zombie, Bat, and Cockroach devil, i think i could make a calc of Cockroach Devil jumping too, dunno how Aki scales to the Fish Devil weight cuz the fight is off screen, Aki has also killed a big Pig Devil offscreen in the Manga but again, we didnt see the fight
  • for the devil hunter blocking transformed Yuko hit, it would fall under narrow dodges (as drite77 pointed out), but as Yuko was holding back, athletic human speed could remediate the devill hunter being seemingly much faster than her in that moment

i personally feel certain areas shouls be explore in all three od those verses (How All for one was moving his prime in mha, a visual representation of how ofa was for witb the story Horikoshi has given us in the MHA Ultimate Guide or whatever it was, AFO vs Prime Might, The Heian Era, Pochita in his prime, ect.) but i can see why these things might be of much interest to others.

Literally everyone, including myself who I've made no secret of my lesser feelings towards CSM 2, felt this meme was just generated from pure hate from a fan of the series but lack the humor of the goated potential man slander made out of genuine love for megumi.

I don't read much besides shonen or the occasional seinen. The bible couldn't really replicate Fujimoto's pen, so I'd compare CSM to the collapse of Rome and how impactful that was to future of the world. That's just me though.

Yeah I agree, its all interesting aspects that could be explore, just don't think it should be why people say a story isn't good. I'm still hoping we get a heian movie or a novel for it.

i mean, to play devil's advocate, if these background information makes up the reason the story happens and we never see it happen (Pochita vs. The Horseman), people have a right to be extremely disappointed.
Should they call the whole series mid for that? Eh, imo no, but that's my opinion and I'm not everyone.

Its common for the past to be mentioned and not being shown. Usually it's not important to the message of the story or to the themes. It can also extend the story when the author doesn't wanna do that. But like I get that, I'm just surprised why people are selective with the criticism for other series.

Iirc only her memory manip is layered, her mind control is not. Tho if someone break out of it she can still re-apply it right away, as seen with Angel, so if you have a crappy resist that only allow you to break out of mind manip after struggling, you're still cooked

i understand if its less consistent, but its not such a big jump to qualify as outlier if its low 7C (and if characters upscaled to 7C if high end were accepted)

the public safety durability being 8B, Bat Devil supersonic boom being close to 8B, and not yet accepted we have Barem burning buildings, High End aquarium spear and Reze torpedo (Anime version, similar to the Manga) being 8B

and the value doesnt surpasses Gun Devil yet too

im not sure about the timeframe being accepted but maybe the distance, so near baseline Low 7C

at lest LS wouldnt be a problem
 
Not an outlier does not necessarily mean good, our next best feat as you said is 8-B+ barring baseline 8-A. Our 8-A calc is already a neat jump, but it is consistent when it comes to tiering. I personally would not recommend breaking the consistency we do have in exchange for bigger numbers.

I do not mind any changes regarding LS though.

JJK fans are still trying to make Debank videos. We all know Oregon Sword was a piece of crap, but they pretend JJK actually has Sub-Relativistic/Relativistic feats, except for Dabura. These guys can't get over the fact that they're hypersonic.
