Chainsaw Man discussion thread

So you believe that slo-mo could still be used for the Denji interaction?
yeah, as im with my CGM thread, id tell you to make another one about this, but i can get scans visibly showing the blitz, with explanation for you

i dont see that Powers blood was actually immobile while Kishibe was moving until they were broken (and life king comment was only liked by you and anonymous learner, probably no CGM read it)

would take me a few minutes, may share it as a link to Imgchest

ok thread would be explained like this:

in Episode 10 of season 1 of CSM, Kishibe completely blitzes Denji, in this thread it was rejected using slow mo nor 1px method as Denji does seems to move, but he may not have actually moved.

(important detail of the feat is that Denji was actively moving his axe towards Kishibe before the blitz)

Here you can see the Feat in more detail

in scene 1 and 3, its clear that Denji visibly didnt move until Kishibes kick landed on him, thats where he does seems to move, and its from the kick as blood comes out, his neck goes down, his glasses go flying, and the axe goes slower instead of towards kishibe like Denji was actively doing

but in scene 2 is where it was pointed out that he moved (which already is only 1/3 scenes showing movement to reject it, its not an objective rejection)

however the movements denji does in scene 2 seems to be an animation error of having the effects of the landed kick, before the kick actually landed
  1. Denji glasses fall for no reason, they couldnt fly from his own movement if they already didnt when he was going towards kishibe, and he fell from 1 floor to reach him, in scene 1 and 3 they also flew (and in scene 2 they fly more when the kick is landed)
  2. his axe goes slightly lower, even though he was actively going towards kishibe, in scene 1 and 3 this also happened due to the kick
so as an likely animation error within the only of the 3 scenes where he moves, it would make the feat more likely to be used Slow mo or 1px method, likely the 1px as @ElJoaki5 could properly pixel scale the size of a pixel

It doesn't seem like a bad thing to propose. It's worth a shot.
btw when Power throws a blood spear at Kishibe, the spear literally travells like 2 meters from the door in 1 frame, which would be 48 m/s and scales to lifting strength

i could do that as separately from the thread, so do it now if you want

Take your time, we don't have to rush everything. But would it give anything notable in contrast to what we already have?

the spear actually moved 4 meters as power threw it behind the door, but the top speed were visibly 48 m/s, it may be Class 1, if the spear was heavy about Class 5, gonna take a look at it
