People are overreacting to the chapter in general. This is fujimoto we are talking abt here, what do you expect. Anyways, Barem draws closer, Nayuta will eventually die by his hands, that is the cinema I am looking towards. I want to see Denji loose the one thing that held him together again. It would possibly lead back to the Hero Of Hell, but I want to see his reaction and emotion to this loss again.

To be completely serious, this isn't anything worse than what Fujimoto has done in the past pure tone wise. Fire Punch was filled with shit way worse than most of Chainsaw Man, and people weren't flinging shit about Fire Punch.

The Conquest Devil's powers can be overcome with a sudden rush of emotion. Angel seeing Makima conquer Aki on the very beach that she conquered Angel on made him remember his village. Power remembering her time with Denji allowed her to break away from mind control.
