If that were the case, we'd likely see blood scattered on the walls, as happened with the prior AOE explosions.
Quite frankly impossible, however, this is a durability feat in the case for Nomo.

It's the former. Fumiko being absurdly durable is fine since her entire character's an enigma anyway and she's important enough to get a Volume Cover. Nomo is a hare's breath away from being a random extra. He's not tougher than Yoshida or Kishibe.
Also Reze literally decapitates him and the Vice Captain and shows them to Aki in the next couple pages, meaning something besides the sparks would have to scale as well, which causes problems. Heck, it already causes problems.
- Reze's sparks "destroy" Public Safety Uniforms (never explicitly shown onscreen, only presumed) -> Reze's sparks can't destroy Denji's chain -> Katana Man can destroy Denji's chain -> Katana Man can't destroy Public Safety Uniforms.

Denji pulled his ripcord before Reze's sparks hit him, not after. The chain was already there when the spark hit.

He doesn't need to be, he already has his own statement from Reze stating that he's hard to kill. While her regular explosions effortlessly kill other agents, a special attack still never took him down. That is clearly a narrative feat on Nomo's part, despite him being a random extra. You're also forgetting that all Devil Hunters have different physical capabilities and contracts, which, in this case, would only upscale Kishibe and Yoshida, who already scale to the value regardless.
He was already suffering from blunt trauma to the head, not to mention we have no idea how the fight turned out, considering it happened off-screen. The explosion was also centered around his torso and not directly in his face. She could have also ripped his head off his shoulders, which would be an LS feat and not AP, while also being the more likely option.

That's not true. When reze let out the first spark, it detached his arm along with the chord and he was able to get back his other one by regenerating.

I still don't understand how that scene disproves Nomo having just taken off the jacket in order to tie up his arm.
If Nomo's strong enough that his face could withstand something that vaporized- not pierced, not cut, not destroyed, but "vaporized" a Public Safety Uniform, then why was he even wearing it?! Hell, why was he bothering using Fox's Paw which only scales above typical fiends and fodder, if he's that tough? How are his pants that tough?! If it vaporized the uniform, WHY IS THE WHITE UNDERSHIRT INTACT?!
You cannot be serious when you tell me that a dude who isn't even a Vice Captain of Public Safety, who ISN'T IN THE SPECIAL DIVISION, is tougher than a Hybrid.
No they don't. They scale above Post-Training Hybrid Denji. Quanxi can literally kill Yoshida with one direct hit.
It turned out with Nomo f*cking dead and Reze totally fine.
Human beings are not absurdly anisotropic (have different strength in different planes/direction of force) like chains or rope are. Things that can rip us apart are stronger than us.

The fact that he only has one arm and that the jacket is nowhere to be seen.
That's because the jacket absorbed all the damage. The focus of the explosion was on his torso, while the rest was just AOE. His face clearly isn't as durable as the explosion, but narratively, Nomo is fairly durable, which is why the jacket simply isn't there. It serves as a scene to narratively prove the toughness of PS uniforms, or Nomo is an ancient devil who is just hard to kill for no apparent reason.

Yoshida was specifically name-requested by Makima, and proceeded to fight Goddamn Quanxi twice, casually dropped that he know about Makima's powers, and Kishibe called himself 4th Rate compared to him. They're not equivalent.

The way things work here is that Attack Potency means capacity to harm individuals who possess a degree of durability. Reze ripping off his head would mean that she scales above his durability. You are faced with a dilemma.
- Reze could not have blown up Nomo's uniform without also blowing up Nomo's face. We even see the AoE damage, it's not like it was being directed like with her torpedos.
- Nomo's head being there while the uniform isn't, assuming it was in fact turned to bits, means it's more durable.
- That simply doesn't make sense. Especially if Reze is just stronger than him outright rather than just her sparks, given her performance against Denji.

Gotta mention about Asa's profile again, the new feats and abilities are fully added (I hope), but because tank gauntlet ain't in action yet and I don't think it will be long until then (future devil told me), I think if we wait for about 1-2 chapters to see if Yoru will use it for anything at all before really updating her profile.

I can physically demonstrate that large strands of hair have a higher terminal velocity than 5 centimeters per second in front of my own face. Even if those papers you reference really did exist, their credibility can be disproven right at home. 5 - 2 centimeters per second is an absurdly slow terminal velocity. The top speed of a sloth is 8 centimeters per second, for reference.
- Assuming Yoru's mouth is open at the typical max mouth opening (5.2 cm) for adults for the largest timespan possible-
- Yoru's hair fell (5.2/67 * 87 - 5.2/67 * 63) = 1.862686567 cm
- Solving backwards for time w/ Earth gravity acceleration, 0.01862686567m = 1/2 * 9.80665 m/s^2 * t^2
- sqrt(0.01862686567 * 2 / 9.80665) = t, t = 0.06163459568 seconds

That's how fast a single individual hair will fall, which will be much slower than a clump of hair thanks to the higher surface area to volume ratio. A clump of hair is the thing being measured though, which falls much faster. Always fun to see someone using the drag formula though.
