So, I'm reading a LN and there is this statement from a god:

Could this be tiered as 5-B? Or is this not enough evidence?

Yes. It is a 5-B. Or it can just be a hyperbole depending on the context or an outlier depending on the character.

See what happened before, if that is the character's biggest feat and no one in his verse can up him above feat via scaling, this feat just scaled him to Multi Continental, like what happened to Boros from One Punch Man

At the lowest, this can mean engulfing the surface of the plane in flames enough that it kills all of humanity. Not sure if someone made a similar calculation.
Generally engulfing the entire world with something would be High 6-A. It could be higher or lower depending on what it is, the manner of engulfing, if something is destroyed, and also the timeframe.

Assuming this was done at a short timeframe, seems like multi-continent level. But if it was done overtime, then how long it takes sounds like an important factor.

Well, the story implies practically instantly. So, would it be possible to rate this feat as baseline High 6-A when I make the profile?

Yes, according to this Wiki.
No, that's just High 6-A, we have common feats calculated for that. Both air and ground burst.

Wiping the whole surface out in a fiery explosion is only high 6-A, multi continental.
its pretty vague but yeah it could get high 6-A, we should have a standard calc for surface wiping but im not 100% sure
We do it just isn't listed, the quickest way to find it though is to just go to Skull Kid's profile. There's even an air burst version in the comment section.

Yeah, I was thinking it's weird how there isn't surface wiping feats in Refference for Common Feats.
There is

I mean sure both are surface wiping but in the Reference for Common Feats it's done via explosion. Would that work for this case? Asking since the character focuses on fire and melting, not explosions.

You could just calc lighting the air on fire with the surface acting as the area.

Armorchompy has a lighting air on fire calc you could copy the formula from.
