Idk if it is his bait again or he is serious, but anyway, GT Perfect File directly stated the Positive Energy is the Nature itself and Minus Energy is its opposition. Also it was never stated the Minus Energy generated by Dragon Balls, DBGT only stated that within the Dragon Balls exists both Positive and Negative Energy in a balance state, it is just that overuse the its wishing ability can cause shift in the balance within the Dragon Ball. Though in reality they exists everywhere, Goku have Positive Energy in his body.

Lastly these two "energies" are just Ki, which ia fundamental force that make up things in Dragon Ball, a person have Ki, Planet have Ki. It is formless and invisible until someone manipulate it. So while you call it energy, it act as ground that make up thing in existence

The reasoning as far as i've seen, is that reality itself is an extension of the essence of a being, meaning that "if reality were destroyed", the essence of davoth would still exist independently and would be unaffected, from creation itself being unmade, and is the only fundamental aspect in the DOOM verse.

Davoth's rage was also capable of transforming higher dimensional realms, that are extensions of his being, altered it's very nature and corrupted that reality purely by the extent of him being pissed off, basically, reality itself gets affected by him doing shit, but anything that happens to reality, despite it being an extension of him, does not affect his essence. Meaning his very essence (which contains everything about his being) is independent and above anything in the verse.

Also, essence itself is not energy, it's the fundamental aspect of ones being, and contains everything.
Argent energy, etc is energy in DOOM, but not essence.

Personally I'm OK with concept, plot, info, law, math, logic etc manip having anti feats as fiction isn't perfect buuuut

I've had my gripes with how some verses treat HGR when it's LGR
