Call of the Empty RP Thread

Granalda quickly grabs a machine gun/dolphin hybrid from her inventory while putting away the lance, pointing the new weapon towards the weird humanoid naked thing.

"What the actual heck are you !?"

She shouts.

The weird zombie esque creature doesn’t respond to any provocation or words thrown it’s way. Instesd, it only continues shuffling in your direction, as if completely unaware of what you’ve said or threatened. It’s eyeballs seem to be floating and turned towards itself, so it seems it may be entirely deaf and not able to see you, or otherwise unable to register you without sight. Or it could potentially just feel simply unthreatened.

"Another one arrives, though it seems like it can't hear us. Maybe a different approach."

Horus tried addressing the thing through telepathy.

"Hello? Can you understand me?"

As the bird tried to reach out to the creature through telepathy, immediately it turns towards the group with its eyes, making a humming noise, but doesn’t immediately react with any sudden movements. Instead, it begins to walk and reach towards the center of the group, trying to push its way into the middle. It doesn’t seem angry or anythin, but if anything, seemed pleased by the attentio.

"We should attack and get out of here" a voice yelled.

"Give it time, patience is the most valuable weapon." said the wiser voice inside Dan's head.

Meanwhile Dan himself watched this, paying attention to both the creature and the others, making a mental note of they powers.

Ginsu reached the humanoid, staring at its eyes.
He created a flower made of Shinsoo to then giving it to the creature.

"People, tech says this thing is called Craving Remnant - Exposure, considering the name just standing around looking at it is NOT a good idea, we are making it stronger !"

The knight states as they ready to unload celestial bullets at it.

At that Ginsu Yu closed his eyes quickly and by teleporting up in the air he fires over nine thousand Shinsoo spears at the creature, without looking at it but just feeling the presence.

Mario makes a confused face.

"Why so violent, man?"

He takes his own gun out, a pistol, and holds it in the air as if in surrender. In doing so, the gun glows white and turns into several small items. 1 cent coins, bombs, keys and "hp". He puts them in the bag of crafting, creating an a Mystery Gift in the process. He opens it, obtaining a Battery Pack.

He puts the batteries in the bag and waits.

The mass stirs.

"Stop."

Rings out in the head of Ginsu at a very high volume, while Granalda hears it at more normal volume.

Suddenly, the mass almost seems to multiply, released from its condensed shape, it fills the air, absorbing the incoming projectiles and stopping them from hitting it, beginning to form a darkened cocoon around the creature, to hide it from sight.

"Uhm, alright then."

Trusting the super intelligent supercomputer is probably a good idea, so Granalda unrevs her dolphin gun and waits to see what happens next.

Dan watches his """"partners'""" powers work.

"So that thing is probably is a cloud of Nanobots, our only way to deal with it is the possibility that he can turn it off." said one of Dan's Voices in his mind

The creature doesn’t seem to react to this, as no damage has been done to it. It seems fairly docile for now

"Welp, guess that solves that, nooooooooooow..."

The knighted turns towards where the creature popped out of, check if the rift is still open.

The maneuver seems to work temporaril, but over time, it seems something is burning through the cocoon

The cocoon alters itself to resist this effect as it is struck, though in response to the attack, some nanites are sent directly at the creature. Not as an attack, but rather to see if they can enter its body.

The being analyzes possibilities. Is it powered by us observing, acknowledging it it, or it through observing or acknowledging us? What weaknesses may it have, if so? Perhaps the being should contain them, and depart, rather than contain it.

"Alright, well, looks like there's no way we leaving peacefully."

Mario turns his knifes and swords into pickups, and grabs them with his bag. He ends with:

Lil Spewer, creating a familiar and a pill.

No 2, whose diaper is quickly thrown away.

Paschal Candle. Not useful in this situation.

D4. Good. He rolls, and his items instead become Gemini, Old Bandage, Wooden Spoon, Chemical Peel and The Pepper.

Better. He takes the pill. Six bombs spawn all around him.

"****."

It doesn’t seem like entering it’s body is possible in the normal way. As you try and finish the analysis, the creature manages to tear its way out, though it doesn’t seem hostile just yet.

The cocoon's shape changes easily to compensate, but it's no longer trapping the being actively, though it is circling around it.

"Options of... proceeding. Depart. Contain. Grant its wish."

The cloud conveyed to the others present, as if inquiring as to their preferences.

"Do... not... attack."

It warned.

@Overlord775

"I have another idea, it might sound dumb ... and probably is, but we could try digging our exit, probably destroying part of this dimension will destabilise it"

The bird looks around at the others erratic behavior.

"Why are you in such a hurry to leave? Do you have a destination in mind? Or could it be that some of you know more about the situation than the rest of us? If not, in situations like this it would be unwise to take action without first forming some sort of plan. You must be patient. However..."

The avian gets up from his meditative position, his towering frame standing on solid ground.

@Overlord775 @Faruel1998

"The two of your actions potentially put us in further danger. If you plan to continue this behavior, I'll be forced to put a stop to them."

Despite his warning, the bird's demeanor makes this seem more like an invitation than a threat.

@Faruel1998

"That's not how space-time works buddy."

@Edwellken

"Oh look at birdhead there, acting all high and mighty when he hasn't done anything to actually help. Besides, it should be pretty obvious why i want to leave this completely devoid of anything realm we have been kidnapped to."

The knighted replies back to him, as she then turns towards and moves to the mass of grey goo.

"And why exactly should we not attack it ? There's literally nothing else in this dimension, nor it seems the one that put us here will allow us to leave either, and considering the explicitly evil name of the creature, we are clearly meant to kill it."

"Try will not hurt!", Ginsu replied, ignoring the birdman and summoning a huge pillar of red Shinsoo at the void beneath him, trying to dig an exit by distorting the space.

"Attacking... will... return attacks... to you. It is... useless."

The swarm communicated.

"An alternative... approach... is necessary. Possible... permanent means of containment."

It suggests.

Dan looked at the attempts of these people, he was not intimidated by the bird man, rather this event was amusing his voices and him, desperation is the key, desperation can lead you to survival or death.

At hearing that Ginsu raises a eyebrow.
He creates a duplicates of himself and teleport near the knight and goo.

"I have something that could help containing the creature"

@Faruel1998

Sensing the red human's intentions, Horus immediately creates clones of himself, all of whom combine their efforts to trap the offender and his red energy in a force barrier, while absorbing and diffusing the attack.

Horus cracked his neck.

"You know, I was hoping someone would bite. Things should at least be a bit less boring this way. Now, are you going to stop, or would you like to find out what happens when this thing collapses on you?"

"You... may try... but be certain... that you can defend from it..."

The swarm noted.

"It is not... completely invincible..."

It took on a position that allowed Ginsu a clean shot at the creature, while not in the zone of danger itself.

@Edwellken

"Mh, interesting ... could you do the same with others 8999 pillars?", Ginsu asks.

@The_Divine_Phoenix

Ginsu's duplicate followed the direction indicated by the swarm and taking the Amulet of Shinnok he pointed at the creature and fired it's sealing attractive ray.

Horus smirks, giving off an expression that says try it and find out. However, he releases the forcefield around his rival.

"A tempting offer, but hopefully I won't have to. It seems that your efforts are better focused elsewhere, and I don't intend to interrupt. Why don't we resume this if your attempt there fails?"
