Well Byleth has an AP advantage, has status, can prevent counter attacks, has decent healing, and can rewind time.

Lavagirl has flight, can resist all fire attacks from Byleth, and has regen. not to mention she is inorganic.

Byleth can probably try to rattle Lavagirl to restrict movement, and use windsweep to prevent counter attacks. While the regen will be hard for Byleth to get by, I imagine that she should eventually be able to reduce lavagirl to pieces via sublime heaven, since she doesn't resist the SotC's regular attacks.

If Byleth didn't have divine pulse, she would likely lose.

Ill vote for Byleth high-mid or high diff

Bits is High Mid, which she has

Unless we say that Lavagirl needs her head intact to regenerate..

From what's on her profile, it seems like she was only able to regenerate from her head, not necessarily like a puddle or small fragment

Well yes, because a small puddle is Low High

How does it disintegrate people btw

I was thinking that she wouldn't be able to regenerate from very small bits, and can only regenerate from a part of the body such as the head. Byleth should be capable of this as we can see with sublime heaven.

if that's not the case, then Byleth also has some types of magic (such as Aura) which can arguably disintegrate Lavagirl. Magic is not OOC for Byleth to use either, as the enlightened one literally has magic as a proficiency.

Again how does Aura disintegrate people, if its through strength its moot because they are ultimately comparable in strength.

I don't know how to put this into words, but I'm thinking that it can blow beings apart due to the animation, especially someone like lavagirl who is made of lava.

Assuming we are using SBA, Byleth should also be able to use the terrain to their advantage, such as knocking lavagirl into a pond and such. (Though I will admit it's a bit of a stretch)

Byleth also arguably has a speed advantage when injured, can block many attacks from Lavagirl, and has good healing, and has some life steal attacks. Not to mention has arguably much greater stamina than lavagirl via upscaling from Child Hubert, who was able to fend off trained soldiers for days.

I think it's far more likely that Byleth would eventually be able to incapacitate Lavagirl via the terrain, or just blowing them apart into smaller puddles via sublime heaven, or just straight up outlast them. Not to mention Byleth has at least 13 tries and can gain prior knowledge of Lavagirl.

So I think Byleth would defeat lavagirl eventually for reasons listed, or just stalemate against her.

Lavagirl is made of Lava yes, but she also has Low 6B Durability, so blowing it apart with a single attack will be highly difficult.

SBA is in Central Park, so there is water.

Speed is Equal

Life Steal may work

Yeah I can see Byleth taking it overall with stamina and such, I just found the original reasoning iffy

I can understand it better now though, I'll close
