This isn't void manipulation. The novel translations outright state that Gogeta and Broly were simply too powerful for the universe to withstand their energy and then the alternate dimension they clashed into collapsed when they clashed again as Blue and FPSS.

It's simply their raw power distorting and breaking apart space-time. Not void manipulation.
