Bowsers resurrection

So Bowser currently has resurrection listed on his profile based on Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door where it's revealed he has infinite lives. But I played though the game for the first time recently and I got to the part of the game where Bowsers infinite lives was shown...and this is all it was:




It's just a screen that appears if you happen to die, and none of the characters, including Bowser himself, ever mention these infinite lives. This just seems like game mechanics as opposed to legit resurrection.

With about as much knowledge on Mario as a newborn baby with a moustache, I think it's pretty clear that it's game mechanics, given what you've said here. It looks about as canonically legit as Starcraft's Zeratul talking to himself, explaining the rules of the game. Yeah.

I think we should wait for others though, to have a look at it, especially those with intimate knowledge on the workings underneath that big, green, spikey shell.
