From Boruto ch.63 and 64, we saw a new transformation for Boruto's kāma seal. Boruto did this because he took Amado's "special meds" that target the Byakugan to slow down the process of Boruto's kāma seal from extraction turning him into Momoshiki, and slowing down his revival. Which actually work as it slowed down the progression of the kāma seal to 82%. With the usage of the medicines, Boruto was able to temporarily tap into the "Ōtsutsuki combat experience" of Momoshiki through his kāma with his kāma taking the pattern when Momoshiki would take over his body but Boruto was in control of time and did not have the horn. Although he had the appearance of the Byakugan in his right eye just like when Momoshiki would take over he wasn't able to use it. I like to call that state "Kama: True Essence". During the events of Ch.64, although Boruto struggled at first he was later able to be on par with Code with the White Kāma seal activated while having limiters in place this was for a short period of time. As he later collapses to the ground in pain due to the side effects of Amado's "meds". I was unable to post the image of Boruto's new transformation but I'll leave a link to the image.
After his death and revival, it was later discovered in ch.75 that Boruto and Momoshiki own have to share thoughts together with their thoughts crossing over each other against their wills. Similar to how a Jinchūriki and its Tailed-Beast would have thoughts crossing over to each other. Because of this, Boruto was seemingly able to access Momoshiki's Byakugan able to see into the future where Momoshiki said that he would lose everything and he confirms that Boruto saw a fragment of the future where his friends and other Konoha-nin were chasing Kawaki.
