I´ll try:

1: Tails´intelligence is more regarding actual science stuff instead of fighting, especially for classic Tails, so it´s likely irrelevant here.

2: Boruto can just break the with any attack that´s not of fire, electricity or roudn proyectiles, so he can just throw a shuriken at it and it´s destroyed.

3: His air manipulation should take care of it.

I would like to point out that Tails can use his invulnerability to get out of a problem should Tails be unable to dodge something notable and even spam bombs to give Boruto trouble.
