Ichibei controls all kinds of black, Blackbeard only nullfiies devil fruit and can't do anything against haki. Ichibei doesn't have any limitations like that. Yhwach had to use Almighty to regain his lost powers. Ichimonji is far superior to Yami Yami No Mi by feats

I can definitely agree that He is far superior to the Yami Yami no mi. But with verse equalization DF abilities and another supernatural energies are considered the same. ( Other wise Logia types would be practically untouchable and shinigami wouldn't be able to be seen.) With that being said BB should be able to touch and nullify Ichi's abilities with the verse equalized.

Ichibei has resistance to power nullification, Yhwach's Sankt Altar didn't work on him. Yhwach stole Yamamoto'r bankai with Sankt Altar. Blackbeard doesn't have the feats to nullify Ichimonji.
