Black Clover: Removing Resistance to Mind Manipulation

This has been bugging me for a little. Basically, everyone in Black Clover has a resistance to Mind Manipulation for the following reason: "Those with a developed Magic Power are unaffected by Neige's Snow Magic, which controls the target." On the surface, this sounds very straightforward, but there is a glaring issue with this:

Mages with a developed magic power aren't affected yes, but it's not because they resist it. It's because the spell itself is limited to children with undeveloped magic power. This is supported by the fact that even when Asta didn't have his Anti-Magic Swords out, the spell had no effect on him.

Overall, this resistance should be removed, aside from devils because they resist Mind Manipulation via being unaffected by their own negative mana and the negative mana of other devils, which corrupts the mind. An inherent limitation of an ability is not cause for a resistance. That just makes Neige's spell "Limited Mind Manipulation."

This is true because it's not affecting asta i thought nobody would question it. Either way I'm still confident they can cancel mind manipulation via mana skin.

Most characters would from what i know.

Mostly only Devils and some other characters would have resistances towards Mind Manipulation.

Yes, they'd lose it. Like Deceived said, only devils would keep a Resistance to Mind Manipulation for reasons I've mentioned in the OP
