This Wiki's definition of Chi Manipulation:

Chi Manipulation is the manipulation of a natural energy coursing within the body.

Mana's description from the Black Clover wiki:

Mana is a form of energy that exists in nature and within people. It is the source of all magic spells.
...

This energy is naturally existing and flowing in the environment and within everyone.

I know there's already ki in Black Clover, but the Ki that Asta and Yami Sukehiro are using is only ki sensing while mana fits the other forms of Chi, except Chi sensing

I agree with this until we get further information on Ki like where it originated from in the Land of the Rising Sun

Mana is magic power. Chi is life force energy. It is not the same thing.

In verse Asta has 0 mana literally so chi cant be a mixture of mana in verse since Asta has 0 mana but he has chi

Mana in bc is treated as life force tho I can say that

Yes, but fiction does not tend to treat them as working identically.

Does manipulating mana in this series grant all of the abilities of our Chi Manipulation page in addition to standard Magic spellcasting, and is it also treated as empowering life energy?

I think it would be better if OP show us few scans about how does Mana works, instead of a few lines from the wiki.

Body Strengthening

"Chi Manipulators are able to achieve incredible superhuman feats of strength, speed, stamina, and durability by infusing their bodies with dense quantities of Chi,"

Mana Skin Users manipulates their mana to create a coating of mana that enhance their durability.

Mana Skin Noelle Black Clover
Here, Yami focuses his mana on his arm to increase his strength. It's comparable to Sakura Haruno (I know we shouldn't compare 2 different verses), she focuses her chakra in her fist to increase her strength.

Chi Emissio
"Chi Manipulators are often able to emit their Chi from their bodies for various effects, most frequently in the form of an Energy Attack or an Aura."

In the first picture, they release their mana to intimidate the other. In the second, He releases his mana to go at full power.

Movement
"The ability to fly, run or stand on water or other mediums that would not normally support their weight."

This onic is obvious. Everyone is able to fly on brooms or fly by themselves... Except Asta because he's the only one without mana and Noelle because she couldn't control her mana at first.

We were asking about the description of the mana, as several different powers can have the same effects. Look for explainations of the mana (nature of the power).

Antvasima was asking if it grants abilities that Chi Manipulation does as well as Magic abilities.

Also I don't correctly understand your post (my bad english comprehension). Do I need to search if it's natural or something?

Yeah, but Chi and Magic aren't the only powers that grants empowerments, healing and such.

In verses, generally the ones that has been runing for years, tends to give an explaination to the origin of powers and nature; what we need are scans where it explains how mana works there.

It doesn't seem to be the same thing then, or at least there is no conclusive proof for it.

But manipulating mana in this series grant all of the abilities of the Chi Manipulation page in addition to standard Magic spells

That description suggest its magic energy (something that mana is), but do not [necessary] suggest life-force or vitality.

No. Sorry. They are both fictional power sources, but not identical ones.

We should preferably close this thread.

Do not really explain much.

Although, I feel that our definition of Chi is kinda vague, rather than simply "natural energy within ones body" (in whose case it involve any type of energy), the common definition of chi its the vital force that constitude health within life.

Although Mana and Chi aren't not the same (although both are subset of vitality), our current definition makes it sound like they are.

Okay. That is a problem, yes. You can adjust the Chi Manipulation page to turn more accurate if you wish.

Ok, our current definition its: Chi Manipulation (also known as Ki Manipulation) is the manipulation of a natural energy coursing within the body known as Chi, Qi, Ki, Youki, and many other names[...]; so what about: Chi Manipulation is the power to manipulate the vital energy coursing within living organism and that constitutes health, also known as Qi, Ki, Youki, and other names[...]

I made a small correction, but it otherwise seems fine.

Ok, I can't edit the page, so you just need to replace the first part with the last one, and we are done.

Once the changes are done, the thread will conclude as mana do not longer qualify as chi (unless OP have proof that it contitutes vitality and health).

Done. I will close this then.
