Beyonder inside his realm vs Elder God Demonbane

I heard that Beyonder was supposed to be invincible inside his realm. Does that hold true for characters if they are tier A? Do all tier A characters automatically beat Tier B characters?

I saw a few matches like this before but it seemed a bit inconclusive. I wanted to know your thoughts.
