I'm going to assume this is meant to be GT Cell. Beerus is 6 2-C and has EE via Hakai, which he should be able to turn into an AoE effect via Hakai aura. The only thing Cell has is speed but he has no wincons with that from what I can tell. In the worst case scenario Beerus can just erase the macrocosm along with Cell, which he obviously wouldn't be able to dodge.

Not seeing why this wouldn't be a stomp for Beerus.

It would be hilariously a stomp for GT Cell since if speed was unequalized then Cell blitzes Beerus.

Anyway, matches like that can't happen. There is no profile or stats for Cell training since it would be too much speculation and not official canon, and Beerus and other gods scale to 6U anyway. Cell could just train all his life but he'll only be 3U in the end.

Considering the profile links canon Cell, I don't see how he can match Beerus in a reasonable amount of time

Cell's potential is unknown, it might be higher or lower than Frieza's, but it took Frieza 10 years to reach his Black Form, and even that didn't surpass Beerus

So even with years of prep and knowledge, I don't see Cell standing a chance

Beerus just escapes like Goku did in GT or Hakais him due to an insane AP advantage over GT Cell

Cell's only advantage is speed but he lacks the power to keep Beerus absorbed within him so Beerus escapes and destroys him. Beerus can also activate his hakai aura to erase Cell if he comes too close

Goku just forced himself out because Cell was too weak to keep him in. He was fully absorbed when he got in

That's not a resistance feat since Goku was absorbed and Cell even got powered up from it, meaning the absorption worked until Goku forced himself out of Cell

But regardless it's a mismatch. Either Cell blitzes and absorbs if Beerus really can't escape it, or Beerus escapes and hakais Cell

Why? The absorption worked. It's not like with Vegito inside of Buu where he wasn't absorbed because of the barrier so Buu wasn't powered up by Vegito

It's exactly the same when Cell absorbed people and got more powerful after absorbing them. Cell even says that it worked and now he has Goku's power. If Goku really had a resistence Cell wouldn't have gotten power from him cause the absorption would fail. It succeeded, but Goku just escaped afterwards
