So, I finished Witches Abroad, and while Baron Saturday isn't the only one who could get some corrections, I found his durability justification a bit weird:
His current justification is that his durability is Atuin's and that the turtle needs to die for him to take damage.
Except that while he was clearly way above anything thrown at him by Lili, the only statement remotely similar was a statement which was more like "You can't hurt him; he's the Swamp, he's the world itself!".
So is there anything more to support him having his durability scaled to Atuin?
