Hey all, I recently started reading through the series (just finished Vol 9 infact) and I'm really enjoying it so far but I do have one question about the scaling. After unlocking Zangetsu Ichigo's slash is so strong that it would have cut Urahara's arm off if he didn't shield himself. However Soul Society Arc Ichigo is rated 7-B while Kisuke's first key is 6-B, is there a reason for this?

That scene is foreshadowing Ichigo’s potential, rather than being a consistently accurate portrayal of his power at the time. You’ll see as you keep reading that Urahara states that that Ichigo there is only like 3rd-4th seat level, and Kisuke is blatantly captain level. So it’s just not consistent to say Ichigo’s normal power is there yet. Kisuke also gets stronger throughout the series too, he begins the series in a rusty state similar to Yoruichi.

But if you’re still not buying it, Kisuke’s 6-B scaling comes from the Arrancar arc which happens after Soul Society anyway

From my pov absorption is yhwach's basic ability. But he performs that feat in his base almighty form. That was another issue.

It was aizen's thread and somebody literally pointed that out.

Oh no, I don't have a problem with the placement, I just want to improve the syntax, tweak the grammar a bit, and clean up the overall phrasing. It just reads kinda clunky to me when looking at the section as a whole.

You could also argue that the Sokyoku being able to destroy the Soul Society refers to the entire dimension of the Soul Society; therefore, Soul Society Ichigo is Low 2-C, if you want to go crazy with your agenda.

After it's done I will add conceptual erasure (type 2) on ichibei's profile. It simply doesn’t make sense ichibei's whose zankpakuto is inherently superior than the rest of zankpakutos and kidos would have just ee. And in the statement he explicitly mentions different phusical, spiritual states, then mentions turning "everything" into nothingness won't include name as well when his whole set up is with name and he could wipe it out with inferior moves. Even further he mentions the place of nothingness as pitch black hell which is usually refered as absolute nothingness where someone's very essence become nonexistent.
