I find it interesting how Kubo is aware of the powerscaling. He wouldn't be putting changes like these if he was just altering the story.

The confirmation of the cycle of souls not being linked to the destruction of the universe was a detail that I wasn't even aware of the first time I watched episode 30. To most casual watchers it's relatively a nothingburger, but to us it means a hell of a lot.

Kinda makes me invested in what could be waiting in Cour 4 since the meat of Ichigo vs Yhwach occurs there.

And how is it dependant on yhwach vs ichigo fight 😆😆 when far inferior character already performed cosmic feats!!

Yeah. Seems weird to me too.

If Ichigo and Yhwach doesn't show them literally destroying the 3 realms, is it gonna invalidate the Soul King's or Senjumaru's feat?

Seems to me that they don't care about creation only destruction feats.

Nah it doesn't need all three realms nuked but something that shows it more than just muh planets
Showing reality being affected to some degree that helps it
 
Yeah showing actual galaxies crumble away like the one end chapter sketch did would certainly be nice for any skeptic.
 
Just saw the raw episode. Not much happened this episode as it’s pretty much just an intermission episode.
Nanana paralyzing Aizen was kept so that’s fun.

There’s a couple anime original scenes of the shinigamis fighting off the Soul King’s energy torrent. Byakuya’s Shikai was cancelled out by a portion of said current.

There’s also a anime original scenes with Shunsui calling the fodder shinigami that survived to rally at the research center to give their to form the gate as well as Shunsui giving a speech to everybody that survived.

Also if it matters Shunsui said in his speech that it’s not just Soul Society that’s gonna be destroyed but the world itself. So world =/= Soul Society.
But yeah that’s about it. If there’s one thing I’m looking forward to seeing next episode it would probably have to be some flashback of Senna when Ichigo says he’s been to the Valley of Screams. Like I really hope they add some anime original flashbacks next episode.

Another great episode. Aizen implicitly claiming that Kisuke cannot sense Yhwach's reiatsu was nice as well, seems like Kubo never intended to drop the unsensible stuff, which I like. Also, Shunsui saying not just Soul Society but THE WHOLE WORLD will be destroyed, is another nice statement in support of universal Bleach.

I feel vindicated finally. I think I was one of the first to make the claim that there were two usages of the term Soul Society and had a lot of issues getting it accepted on every battleboard.

Where was all this stuff 10 years ago Kubo, would've saved so many hours of arguing.
 
Ichigo also states that not just his location he's currently standing on, which was the grounding of Reiokyu, which is objectively not attached to the planet of Soul Society, will be affected by Reio's death, but the world itself would be affected by it. It provides further consistency for Reio's, and subsequently Yhwach's feat not just affecting the planets, but also the entire cosmology as well.
 
I think the only thing im sad about is that the scene of the elite sternritters chilling might not show up,otherwise great Ep.

kubo prob realzied he didn't do a good job on making shit clear in the manga so using the anime he decided to fix that
all you need left is a good visual effect of ywhach future feat and viola no more cope
 
Kurohitsugi is just the incantation.

Torrents of Reio’s energy talks about how it’s the energy taking the form of eyeball monsters that arise as Yhwach is unable to initially contain all of Reio’s power. Then it talks about how either Reio bares a grudge against the Shinigami and that’s why they attack them, or Yhwach’s will is mixed in with them.

We’re going to get the Friends Saga (Jugram v Bazz and their flashback) in the next coming episodes, along with next episode having something important with Grimmjow given he got the poem. Then there’s the Mayuri Pernida fight and the Shunsui Lille fight. I think we may get an actual Kira vs Lille fight too. Those are my guesses.
