Baal (UQ Holder) vs Dana (UQ Holder)

Baal was beaten by Evangeline, once she figured out his magic, the fight was easy, Evangeline is still like an inexperienced young child to Dana who easily dispels Evangelines magic without Evangeline even knowing how. I'll give my vote to Dana. Tho I've never seen Dana even try using her full power.

Dana actually had a bit of trouble against Touta post training in terms of actual combat granted I think Dana was holding back but it wasn't a huge gap unlike when they first fought and she even used her "true" form against him. Eva only beat Baal by merely reflecting his attack against him, most of the time he was toying around with her. I'd say breaking Eva's barrier isn't really a display of true strength and it was implied that Eva in UQ is much weaker compared to Negima. I mean, Eva in UQ Holder even got her power sealed by a fodder in the first chapter and another one by Fate's robots. There is also this history of Nobles in general one shotting strong opponents like Nikitis to Fate and Baal to Eva and later we see Eva countering Baal and wasn't a huge stomp like the first encounter and Nikitis stomping both Fate and Touta with later having Touta fight him equally, same thing with Dana and Touta. In general, their powers can't be properly gauge due to inconsistencies.

Dana is clearly smarter (than either Nikitis or Baal), more haxxed (Time and Space hax, Baal had trouble returning to the world when the BFR sphere he created being reflected back to him, and Dana clearly won't have any trouble with any BFR magics)

and while Dana resisted the Time Distortion (which almost erased Touta for good), the other Nobles don't have any resistance to it (so far)

Dana VS Touta, well, that's just Dana playing around, she got caught off guard with the attack reflection, but that didn't last long with Dana breaking the time and space wall (and showing the "true" form is just messing around before giving the stupid certificate to Touta), maybe Touta can fight her raw noble power, but not her Time and Space hax, in my opinion

Dana +1

Smarter based on what? Baal is clearly smart enough to plan a worldwide Coup d'état and seems to be the mastermind behind the scenes while Nikitis has vast amount of knowledge that people do not even know about and he is the librarian of all the books known in history and even books that are not suppose to exist in this timeline. Saying Dana is smarter is simply a subective empty claim.

Also Baal has Time/Space hax as well.and the particular attack that was reflected back to him was more lethal because Dana's attack was meant to only send Kitty in the "past where she belongs" while Baal's attack was meant to toss Karin into "the rift between worlds where there is NO return". The later feat being much more lethal than the former.

Baal has been watching Eva for the past 120 years, there was no indication that he had trouble against his own attack. He gave valid reasons why he did not show up in the past 120 years.

Also Baal surviving his own attack is a feat itself of surviving Time Distortion.

Also no I'm talking about the fight in chapter 95 after 8 months where Touta grew stronger and seemingly fights Dana equally in terms of physical combat, he became skilled enough to surprise Dana and slice off her arms, regenerate through her Time Distortion attacks, and made her go semi-serious mode. It gave me the impression while Dana is extremely haxxed in terms of magic skills, her combat skills isn't all that impressive compared to high tiers. Dana later implied that fights between immortals turns into "non productive drawn-out battle", the result was nothing like before where Dana was completely stomping Touta in a split seconds. If you think Dana has more to hide in terms of combat skills, I will have to ask some proof from you.

No use debating at this point of the story, shoulda wait for chapters where we finally can see Dana seriously fighting somebody, all the fighting vs Touta doesn't count as it's clearly a friendly sparring between mentor and student

What I meant for Time Distortion is this: https://imgur.com/xzHh2WB, a twist in time leads to existence erasure, and Dana kinda resisted the effect of the chaos when saving Touta, can other Nobles survived that? we do not know yet, and it probably won't happen again

and the one Baal used is nothing more than a teleportation orb, nothing mentioned about the time manipulating property, it probably sent the victim to other dimension (haxxed Switcheroo I guess)

Hey, guess what?
Latest chapter confirms that Baal >>>>>>>>>>> Dana

Dana wins easy against Baal. This is a stomp for Dana for many reasons such as hax, feats plus Eva kinda fears fighting Dana but Eva can fight Baal evenly. Dana wins mid diff

Yeah even Juuzo and Nikitis trashed Baal very easily. It was so bad that I just lost a lot of enthusiasm for this series.

Yeah when Baal was first introduce he seem like the silent dangerous powerful evil type now he seems like a flawed crazed villain. And I'm disappointed that Eva wasn't the one to defeat him knowing he's technically Eva archenemy.

True, I absolutely agree. I love Eva too she used to be my all time favorite character not just in Anime/Manga but literally in all of fiction but how she was ruined in UQ Holder was too much for me to handle and I've lost interest in her over the years.

Baal's introduction gave me hope, he quickly became one my favorite characters in the entire series and everything he had is what I wished Eva could have been especially him being a Noble Vampire, those beautiful black Fallen Angel wings, and his affinity for both dark and light magic. Then all of a sudden, chapter 165 happened and everything was ruined for me...

Akamatsu-sensei even did the same treatment to Ialda. When Ialda was first introduced, she was very mysterious, intelligent, and elegant but when they fought her in the Phantasmagoria realm she started acting like a generic crazy villain and was making those weird facial expressions like what Cutlass was doing. It's just so bad that it completely ruined Mage of the Beginning as a whole.
