Rule:
1. It is to determine who has better attorney skill.
2. They have three days to prepare but no fight should be used during preparation.

Should I presume the defendant innocent since It would be out of character for Write to defend an actually guilty person.

Alright, I'd say Phoenix
Phoenix's whole thing is winning hopeless cases in short time frames. That, his ability to notice and resist lies and manipulation and Maya's Magatama would give him a massive advantage over She-Hulk.
Also do note that Write has usually not only proves his clients are innocent but also find the actual culprit at the same time which is technically way more then you actually need to do to win a case since in the American legal system you just need to prove there isn't enough evidence to convict.

Bumping for interest, but I'm kinda inclined to agree here.

Plus, I don't recall being inspired much confidence in MCU She-Hulk's powers of attorney.

It probably be better, though I'm not sure if it would be enough.

Additionally to this should be noted that in his entire career Phoenix have only lost 2-3 cases, the first 2 because he purposely did everything he could to lose do to his client being the culprit (and even trying he actually had problems losing from how good he is bruh) and the last one was because his ******* magician client quite literally disappeared in middle of the court (that actually didn't count as a lose because there was no veredict, but we could count it as a lose since it also didn't counted as a win and he lost his badge for years until he solved the case).
