Attack Potency and durability difference

I assumed it to be this way but I want to double check.

How is AP/durability difference handled? Let's say someone is town level and the other person is mountain level, do you jsut say town can NEVER hurt mountain? Or town CAN hurt mountain but town has to hit mountain enough times.

Is a match still fair game if one has a significant durability advantage and the other has a significant speed advantage? The classic tank vs speedster match.

Durability is weird, you can be harmed by attacks significantly weaker than you but then tank attacks stronger

Here's the thing.

AP and Durability does not always scale to each other unless the AP yield is from a punch or a kick or a body slam or anything physical in nature.

But Striking Strength and Durability must always scale to each other. Newton's Third Law dictates this, that you must be durable enough to survive the blows of your own kicks and punches without breaking your bones from the recoil.

Oh, I wasn't talking about in a content revision but a match up. Like if I had two characters. One's AP is lower than the other's durability. Mountain level to small country level. Does that mean mountain can NEVER hurt small country? Or the mountain CAN but only if Mountain can land enough hits (which would be great because Mountain has a large speed advantage).

Gradual damage is possible but the difference between 7A and 6B is huge so the former is probably getting one shot before doing any meaningful damage

Can't your durability scale way higher then tho?

They absolutely can, that's why Stone Walls exist, but they can never scale below your normal operating level of striking strength.

Of course, there's also the case of trading blows with those who can harm you that'd make your striking strength scale back because of Newton's Third Law and all, or harming yourself with your own blows.
