I'm a bit confused currently, but isn't Pink Steven just Rose's power with some lingering emotions?

Gems are hyper-advanced computers right? Then Pink Steven is probably only a defensive program written by Pink Diamond, before giving birth to Steven, that only activates in the event that Steven is separated from his gem. We know Pink would have needed to do a lot of reprogramming in order to allow her gem to interface with organic material and it makes sense to assume she included several automatic programs meant to keep Steven as safe as possible. Pink Steven probably only has a few possible actions it can preform namely, Return to Steven, Defend itself and Steven, and the "SHE'S GONE" response for anyone naming Rose Quartz or Pink Diamond around it.
We also need to keep in mind actual Steven is currently dying if Pink Steven is active. Not sure what would actually happen if Steven dies but it's probably not a win in this instance.

@Wright I am talking about the fight. The verson of Steven used here is a defensive program who's only goal is to return to Steven and unless Asura actively tries to prevent PS from Steven it'll likely BFR itself if Steven's not present.
@Ivory Asura hands down. Pink Steven likely only has basic skills enough to get through obsticales blocking it from Steven.

I made a logical deduction based on the, 1 minute(?), we got to see of Pink Steven. We know next to nothing about it and it doesn't really behave like a fully sentient being.

1. Nothing about Rose's character indicates she has the foresight to do that. In fact, it contradicts her character, as she's shown to be completely reckless.

- "Nothing about Rose's character indicates she has the forsight" You know execpt for her single ahndedly leading an entire resistance for several hundred years.

1.She's also stated several times to be impulsive and not think things through. She didn't consider the consequences of her fake assasination and that led to the corruption.

Yeah, Pink Steven being a defensive program Rose made is pure fanfiction, you would need an actual scene of this being said in the show in order to use that as an argument. As I've said, nobody can explain what that pink Deus ex Machina bullshit was.
