Girl:

Asuka should be generally more gifted in combat and strategic planning so if you measure both at their best conditions, Asuka takes this.

EVA unit:

EVA-01 is a better long range attacker while EVA-02 is a better mid-to-close range combatant.

If both are cordless, fully charged and starts at some 10m in their units in a marooned island as under a simulated practice match, EVA-02 should take this too.

(Should the starting condition be included as well under the OP thread? A longer range would be more in favour of EVA-01. Battles of cord-linked units may slightly favor EVA-01 in close range and vastly favor 01 when they are like 1000m away.)
