I wanted to make a thread about possibly upscaling some of Evangelion. There are a handful of feats from the series that offer higher ends than what's currently on the pages.

The Mass Production Eva Series invert their AT fields and use it to reveal Lilith’s Moon in NERV Headquarters. As of right now, this feat is only scaled to the Mass Production Eva (MPE). This feat was 6-C, but I want to argue that this feat should scale to other Evangelion Units and Angels. To generate this explosion, the MPE inverted their AT Fields. While Anti-AT fields have special properties such as destroying the AT Fields of other beings, its output should be the same. Inverting something, by nature, does not amplify it and no one in the narrative mentions that Anti-AT fields are ‘more powerful’ than traditional ones. They merely carry unique properties. Someone like Asuka, can tear through the entire series single-handed (only losing due to her battery timer hitting its limit).
Evangelion’s showing significantly more power than normal shouldn’t be considered an outlier for two major reasons. Throughout the series, sync rates among all pilots are shown to rise and fall which drastically affect their performance. Not to mention between battles in the series, the pilots were shown to be training and practicing, meaning they could merely be improving as the story goes as well.
I wanted to also consider adding a separate Attack Potency and Durability for when Evangelions put their AT field at Maximum. In situations where they do, their abilities seem to greatly increase (although it seems it cannot be sustained for long)
Examples of this throughout the series include The Evangelions stopping Sahaquiel. Its potential self-destruct calculated here (https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:DestrudoD4Ray/Space_Eye_Falling) is at the high end of 6-B. Sahaquiel's ability in its episode is to generate damage by combining kinetic energy alongside offensively infusing its AT Field. It showed this by dropping pieces of itself from orbit and dropping them to Earth. Using its entire body threatens NERV HQ. Its fall is then stopped by Unit 00, Unit 01, and Unit 02 while they all maximize their AT Fields. The Angel didn’t cause this destruction because of their combined AT Fields. Assuming each Eva was roughly supporting a similar amount of energy (with each contributing 33.3% or so) would mean they all would scale to the lower end of 6-B.
In the Episode ‘Splitting of the Breast’ Leliel was an angel so threatening that Ritsuko (one of the most intelligent members of NERV) could only conceive of beating it by dropping 992 N2 Mines all at once, combined with Unit 02, and Unit 00 maximum AT field to defeat it. 992 N2 mines, assuming they are of a similar payload to the ones used against Sachiel or Israfel would reach High 6-C to Low 6-B. Despite the fact Asuka and Rei would be nearly in the epicenter of the explosion, neither they, nor Ritsuko or Misato ever mention they would be in any danger.
Lastly, when Unit 00, while missing an arm, charges Zeurel (the strongest angel outside of Adam and Lilith). When Rei activates a Maximum AT field. She is capable of bypassing its AT Field briefly.
I want to reinforce that I don’t believe Eva scale to this level normally, as they don’t consistently show this level of power. It would scale separately as an ability they can use.
Revision Summary:
Most Eva and Angel’s gained 6-C scaling based on the MPE unveiling the black moon.
Zeurel and Evangelions using their Maximum AT field should scale closer to Sahaquiel’s Self Destruct, maxing them Low 6-B to 6-B. Leliel, too, would likely be given this rating.
Berserk Eva 1 would upscale all of this because of it, effortlessly dismantling Zeurel and thus also be Low 6-B to 6-B.
