Are resistances from gameplay mechanics okay?

Say for example you're indexing an MMO or a video game and the boss is immune to a mechanic that would absolutely trivialise the actual boss fight (stuns, crowd controls, mind control, fear etc) is this valid as a resistance feat? or is it just simply a case of it being a game mechanic with no basis in reality?

Video games usually just have resistances be canon on this wiki unless to be assumed otherwise. Although being resistant to stuns should be dependant on what is causing the stun. If it's just a very hard blunt attack then it's just being durable. But it's through some specific ability then resistance to Paralysis (cuz that's what stunning basically is in most games)

Pretty much what is said in the post before this one. The boss must have resistances to resist the abilities, otherwise he does not resist them.
