Arceus is op

That wank though...the Black Hole was only going to destroy the country and none of the stated feats are even close to multiverse level.

A multiverse with six confirmed Universes and an unknown amount of others. Further, shaking is different from creation and destruction.

Until something new pops up Arceus stays where he is. Pray that Pokemon Sun and Moon proves your Multiversal theory.

Hi everyone im new here to VSbattleswiki. Its nice to get into some discussions hahaha. Anyway to get into this Arceus discussion i believe he is actually much higher than people are making him out to be. But i wanna here your opinions on it too so let's have a good discussion when we can lol

Welcome to Vs Battles. It is indeed possible he's more powerful than we have him at (Anime Character Fights have him at Multiverse level) but we at vs battle prefer to be cautious, making as little assumptions as possible.

Thanks everyone for the welcome! :)

True, but there IS more info that could make him multiversal or even beyond that.

Remember the episode in the Sinnoh Saga where Cyrus was going to use the lake trio to summon Dialga and Palkia? If you hear closely enough to what Cyrus says, he says something very interesting. I can even quote his exact words:

"Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie! Hear me now! Transfer your ancient powers to the Adamant and Lustrious orbs! And using the INFINITE Original Powers, connect Time and Space!"

Cyrus when saying this literally stated that the powers from The Original One (Arceus), are infinite!

And thats not the only thing im thinking about. If any of you watch the Kalos saga, do you remember the episode where Ash and his friends make a pit stop at Reflection Cave? In that episode, while they were exploring the cave, Ash and Pikachu got lost from everyone and while looking at one of the mirrors, another Ash pops up and snatches Pikachu, dissaperring into the mirrors. Soon after, Ash chases after the other Ash and after going through the mirror he stummbles upon a different alternate world. A world that's opposite of the world that Ash comes from. The evidence from this is that in this strange world, the other ash is a wimp and a weaak crybaby trainer while the ash WE know is a strong condfident trainer, Clemont studies magic and is very athletic unlike the real Clemont whos weak and invents machines, Serena is a hardcore serious battler whos even stronger than "ash" while the real Serena is kind and has a crush on our ash, Bonnie is a well respected child while our Bonnie is more jumpier, Pikachu loves to cause mischeft and is tough acting while our pikachu is the opposite, and the most striking evidence of all, Team Rocket in this strange world are heroes who help other people and pokemon! While our team rocket is......well you know already xD.

Also, while Ash was in this strange world, the alternate Clemont was explaining to him that Reflection Cave has a legend: that for every mirror the cave has inside it, is actually a portal to an alternate universe/world! Sounds like a big hint for multiverse XD

And one last thing. If anyone follows the Unova Saga, then you should know about a mythical pokemon known as Victini, the victory pokemon. This pokemon is capable of creating UNLIMITED energy within itself that it shares with others, granting them an absolute victory. Of course, Since Arceus created everything in pokemon that would mean he created Victini and gave it that capability. So wouldn't this mean Arceus also has infinite power?

Of course, this may only apply to Anime only pokemon or composite pokemon but i would still like to hear your imput on this possibility

heck many charcters state that they have infinite power. Arceus has infinite speed but not power.

true but you can't really SHOW infinite power on screen because....well its infinite. Thats mostly why omnipotents in fiction like TOAA are only omnipotent because of statements (except for Kami Tenchi maybe).

Plus i woudlnt see how Cyrus would be wrong. Team Galactic has been doing years amount of research on the Sinnoh Legends so it's possible they could very well be correct.

In fact in the sub version of the movie wasnt it stated that Arceus "gave birth to everything?"

I don't know why I only thought about tier 0 characters when he said infnite power.... Well in this case Arceus DOES have infinite power in a way.

Feat wise, i agree. But in this case, I think there would be more to adress this possibility. Even if we don't address Cyrus's feat, it is definitely fact that Victini can posses unlimited power and Arceus created it when making the verse. Shouldn't that kinda put Arceus at infinite power? Or at least higher than tier 2-C?

Arceus has to do this first... 2-B: Multiverse level: Characters who can create and/or destroy 1001 to 10^500 universal space-time continuum's. 10^500 is the scientifically theorized number of 4-dimensional universal space-time continuum's within our own multiverse.

Victini is a little different. He boosts power yet we don't know it it is truly "unlimited"

true but i don't see how it's false. Its even stated in the Game canon via the pokedex and IIRC the dex is one of the most canoncial sources for Pokemon outside Composite.

How many universes does Pokemon have? I already know the trios verses plus the human's universe but is there a true exact number?

i think i heard 12 so far considering each game and remake counts as a seperate universe.

didn't Zinnia almost confirm that each version of the games were an alternate timeline? Well the ones with different events.

and if we go by the anime there's the unknowns universe, the dimensions were the Lake Trio live in, the Togepi Paradise world, and also the reflection cave universes but they have no implication on how many there are. It could be Infinite or not for all we know. Tho there's at least one universe shown from the cave. And if we go by the Hoopa movie, wasnt the black rayquaza, latias and latios summoned from a parallel universe?

We cannot assume there are infinite universes without explicit statements or proof. We must go by the highest showings, which have been in the low reaches of 2-C, and nowhere close to even 2-B.

well i remember like we accepted 12 universes a while ago when ORAS was released and people finished the Delta Episode. She did reference the original RSE in the Delta Episode.

true but in the Kalos Saga Alternate Clemont DID explain that for each mirror Reflection Cave has is a portal to an alternate universe. Therotically IT COULD be infinite by holding a different set of mirrors linking to other mirror worlds creating an infinite/forever expanding string of mirrior worlds. Tho this is onlya theory

The ACF wiki has slightly different standards than we do. I think that their Multiverse level/2-B is 2-100 universes.

yeah, i think it is kind of the same as OBD who last I checked had arceus at multiverse as well.
