Otherwise though, it's not like he's going to always use a barrier first. I believe he does go on the offensive first, albeit faster activation, which was always my argument.

I mean She has elemental manip, Sleep manipulation, Toon force, magic absorbtion etc.

If she's hit by Pokey's Status effect, it's still most likely within his favor. Uncontrollable crying will reduce her accuracy by a lot and paralysis is self explanatory (and perhaps could leave her restricted since most of her spells require movement). Sleep Manipulation won't work due to Pokey Self Sustenance. I still see this going into Pokey's favor given how he has many options and win cons.
