What does a character gain by recovering abilities that have been destroyed or erased?

Context. If there is no further context then this is Restoration. Though current restoration page don't seem to cover the ability to restore hax, unless it was done via reversing time

The context is as follows: If you recover your memories, you also recover the powers and abilities that were erased or destroyed along with you.

That seems to dependence, character nees to recover memories to recover your power, that requires extra step, so i don't think you get any hax from this
