Angry Birds discussion thread 🐦

Would you want me complicate things a bit about this Angryverse thing? From what I understand, there are two Angry Birds Transformers continuities: Comics and game.

John Barber, the author of the AB Transformers comics, said that both the game and the comic 'scratch different itches' and that he didn't intend for the latter to be a video game comic. I think he even hinted in the interview that they have little in common other than a set-up.

To give examples of the differences: İn the comics, the Pigbots are not evil and never have been, let alone brainwashed. They're just a bunch of guys trying to protect their only home. And those Eggbots weren't really important to the comic's plot, even though they were the main antagonists in the game.

Although, since the idw comics seem to be canon, the comic ABT continuity is likely just part of the Classic Universe.

Cool find! I'm fine with the ABT comics and the game being separate canons.

Is it due to any retcons or of the sort?
Mostly because the events of the story seem to branch it from the classic Dimension since iirc the Birds and Pigs transformations are permanent in AB Transformers and things never really go back to normal.

Alright then, so I suppose it's fine to start work on a Transformers profile?

Better-quality blog compared to K. Rool VS King Pig, but this time it's about a feathery hero. (EDIT: It was actually done some months ago, but got shared today in a VS blog's Discord server)
