Hello.

This is just an information message to tell the administrators and bureaucrats to be extra careful to not use any slur words whatsoever within the wiki in the near future, as I have been informed by Merrystar of the Fandom staff that the content filter currently makes an exception for us.

She has been helping me to improve on the programming for the script, and we will include the administrators and bureaucrats after we have made sure that it works as well as possible.

The issue is that it has currently caught quite a lot of false positives, and it would be very annoying for both myself and others if we were recurrently prevented from making harmless posts and edits.

My apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

I will inform you here when the filter has been activated for us as well.

NOTE: STAFF ONLY

Just an update that the slur filter has now been updated so it should work for everybody, including bureaucrats and administrators, with only bots excepted, but you should still try to not tempt fate. As I keep saying, it is a safety net, not a guarantee.

Merrystar of the Fandom staff has also helped me to improve on the programming for the script, and it currently seems to work better than previously.

I just tested the filter by temporarily forbidding the word "cucumber", and was prevented from posting the word in question, so it seems to work fine.
