Well, I have personally been dreading the day when several very valuable, helpful, rational, and productive staff members start to leave the site all at once, due to real world responsibilities, as I don't know how I can possibly manage the wiki without them, given that it has grown far too active for that, and I also do not have sufficiently wide knowledge and experience, but at the same time I realise that they obviously have to take care of themselves and their families first and foremost. At least I have tried to continuously find and recruit new staff members in preparation.

I'll be honest: I don't get bored and tired of the wiki at all. What makes it different from others is very diversified content that makes VS Battles Wiki unique! So many topics to cover, yet a lot of actually educational and just useful material is placed.

What makes the community great? An actually active community with many knowledgeable members that will help you when necessary! Also the staff is very knowledgeable and usually helpful (including myself); also there is a lot of staff members, each of them is being placed in their specialized group, like Content Moderators, Calculation Group and Image Helpers. There are 60 staff members so far, so if you can't get your help, just ask another one, I'm giving a 95% guarantee of it! The fandom is also a combination of various fans of fiction, who decided to paricipate in VS battles debates, and just the pure VS battles debaters, who got interested in the wiki. The list of discussable fiction is very wide, which is supported by 1000+ active editors. The analyze of the VS battles is very detailed and actually involves the true capability of the characters' powers, which allows the battles to be as fair as possible. The profiles have simple, yet detailed statistics for the character's abilities. But the most interesting part is calculations! To scientifically analyze the characters' capabilities you need to do calcs, and the wiki provides quite an amount of resources to get started on it.

Well, in my case when I am quite busy with RL issues, I just come to the wiki to participate in important threads (be it staff threads or normal). On rare occasions I simply don't come, but that only happens for 1-2 days at a time (very rarely maybe a week).

But other than that, I like participating whenever I'm free (which is most of the time) and don't plan on leaving the wiki for a very long time.

This is just me though. I obviously understand your problems as I've been there myself, and I'll say it again. RL always comes first and should be your topmost priority. If it's not, you're doing something very wrong.

Actually, i was originally someone who was not very interested (at all) in involving myself with a wiki, but when i discovered this wiki, i was actually surprised on how the characters where classified, it was quite well done (although i find some profiles that there was some incoherence, but hey! Nobody is perfect!) with the tiering system totally changing my viewpoint about a character's strength. I was also attracted to the activity of this wiki that was really high. But even though i like this wiki, i didn't find discussion on thread where i would like to participate (actually only one, the nanatsu no taizai one). It is due mostly because i don't dare leaving my opinion as i am quite shy so i have prefered watching the discussions. Then i found the image render request thread where i could help people and it is really entertaining for me. Well, in conclusion, i like this wiki but i didn't found a verse discussion beside nanatsu no taizai where i would like to participate yet.

I got diagnosed with depression last month and I have struggled to work on any large CRT projects I have started (namely Riordanverse and MTG), I can relate personally to lack of enthusiasm. You are a good friend my dude, when you read this, if you wanna talk whenever I am on discord. Also, since I plan to take the semester off ╠Âw╠Âe╠ ╠Âc╠Âa╠Ân╠ ╠Âf╠Âi╠Ân╠Âa╠Âl╠Âl╠Ây╠ ╠Âr╠Âe╠Âv╠Âi╠Âs╠Âe╠ ╠Âm╠Âa╠Âg╠Âi╠Âc╠ ╠Ât╠Âo╠ ╠Ât╠Âi╠Âe╠Âr╠ ╠Â1╠ you can make yourself better as a person. Also, there is clearly alot of people above who care about your health and workload, so you are in no shortage of help here. Take as much time as you need, love ya bud <3.

I too can relate to Kep and Matt and Ryu and Azzy. While not quite overboard and I really this community; it's the only one I can truly feel committed all the way. It's more elaborate and complex than other Vs Debating communities while also the most open-minded from my experience. Like we rate characters based on what's legitimately accurate rather than sheer fan service and/or spite. It's not like a certain other community that gives Comic Book characters far too much special treatment while downplaying various Anime and Video Game characters. Furthermore, there's also a lot more good friends here than other communities.

While it can be tiring with other users trying to push for absurd things that simply aren't legit. And it's also tedious to argue in circles with some others and keep giving elaborate context left and right while the other never listens. It's still a lot better than it could be, especially when staff members stick together. And even other staff members whom I often disagree with, I can still get along with them fairly well. And our next staff recruitment drive will surely be a big one; though not going to mention any potential names as to not ruin any surprises.

No shame in taking it easy, Azzy. Even if you're not immediately present to guide this or that discussion, you've set enough good examples in the past to help guide others. Your involvement in a site like this shouldn't pertain to a sense of responsibility -- all this is just entertainment, if even that -- but rather how much the site's helping you have fun and whatnot. Even if there was some arbitrary standard of how much you should be doing on the site, I think you've contributed quite a bit more than your fair share already. You don't owe anyone here something; if anything, it's the other way around. Don't worry if others have to pull their weight as much as you've pulled yours. Only bother with what us nerds want done on our silly Fandom site if you think you'll enjoy participating in the first place.

I dont think it is not being interested. Otherwise they would just outright finish and leave. It seems more that the wiki is time consuming and should only be left as a side hobby. I personally am planning on finishing what needs to be done and then cutting out this wiki for good due to how time consuming and sometimes unhealthy vs debating can be in general, only occasionally going on fun and games forums, talking with other users, s╠Âp╠Âa╠Âm╠Âm╠Âi╠Ân╠Âg╠ ╠Âc╠Âr╠Âe╠Âa╠Ât╠Âi╠Âv╠Âe╠ ╠Ân╠Âi╠Âc╠Âk╠Ân╠Âa╠Âm╠Âe╠Âs╠ ╠Âo╠Ân╠ ╠Âa╠Ân╠Âd╠Ây╠Ât╠Âr╠Âe╠Ân╠Âo╠Âm╠Âs╠ ╠Âw╠Âa╠Âl╠Âl╠ and making a few edits here and there.

@Azzy, something similar happened to me. I'd recommend just outright removing yourself for a while and maybe coming back later when you feel reinvested, for me it feel kinda like an itch to scratch. Sometimes a complete cut-off can help remind you why you came here in the first place.

But whatever you do, like becoming 'a ghost' as you said, hope it works for the best.

@HrishikeshM or maybe it was because the thread wasn't highlighted. Don't appreciate what you're implying and how shoddy you tried shoe-horning your own promotion / yourself in an important thread regarding a different member.

i mean comments from other staff seem like they were not interested in the wiki anymore.....because of their study which i understand.....not any highlight no

i dont know what shoddy means....my english is not very good.....sorry....but i was not trying to be promoted.....i was saying i would help by participating but i am not active much

I apologise if I seemed insistent on a response, or if messaging you just added onto stresses coming from this wiki. That can be one tactic to make yourself feel at home again is to take a break from the wiki and then come back to see how much you've been missed. RL comes first, always; but always know you have friends who are like family both here and RL.

I agree with Medeus. Everybody in the staff are very appreciated. The problem is that I am so overworked, and there are so many staff members, that I am not able to find the time to regularly talk with all of them. I am always open if they approach me about something important in private though.
